5. No Love At The Shore (Jersey Shore Love)
"Hi, is this Adellah?" Mike's voice rang in my ears when I picked up the call. It had been a couple of weeks since I had last seen him at the shop. We talked a once or twice through the phone, so I had his number saved.
"No it's Max." I sarcastically reply as I sit down on my couch.
"...Really?" He asked with genuine confusion. I laughed at him, as I told him no. Mike was too gullible. This was the second time he had fell for it's either the gullible part was true, or Max and I sounded alike through telephone. "You know that was pretty mean." He nagged me, only making me chuckle some.
"Awe, are you gonna tell your mommy?" I pouted, even if he couldn't see me, with a baby voice.
"Nah, I'm a big boy thanks."
"Big is right." I joked, remembering our night together. We talked for a bit more, he had asked if I could go on a date with him. I said yes of course, I wanted to see him again. Besides, he had asked me on a date earlier, we just never got around to that. He told me to get ready in half an hour, because he was headed to my house. (Well as soon as I hang up.) "Alright, I'll see you then."
"Aight, later." Mike replied. A small smile was on my face when he said this. Since I had less than thirty minutes to get ready, I was glad I already took a shower. Changing into a pair of light washed skin tight jeans, and a blue Daytrip 'OMG' cropped top. Finishing my outfit was a pair of black flats, I wasn't in the mood for heels. It took twenty minutes alone to get my outfit picked and set. The last ten minutes I spent doing my make up, spraying on perfume, and putting on my diamond stud earrings.
"Hey-llo." I greeted Mike when I opened my door. He was in a nice pair of jeans, and a Ed Hardy bedazzled shirt. (Well, it wasn't really bedazzled, but it had rhinestones on it.) As usual, the cameramen followed him around. I forgot about them after five minutes, usually.
"You look lovely." Mike complimented me as he leaned over to peck me on the lips. Kissing him back, I thanked him for the compliment. Grabbing my purse, I locked and shut the door behind me. Walking closely together, our hands constantly brushed up against each other.
"Where to?" I asked him as we walked down the boardwalk.
"Klee's Bar and Grill." He replied to my question, finally taking my hand in his. Our fingers interlocked, and we swung them a little as we walked. We caught up on some things as we made our way to the bar. There were occasional silence, but it was comfortable. (For me anyway.)
Finally we got into the bar. Getting a table, we took our time to order our food, and told the waitress about it. She tried to flirt with Mike, but surprisingly he didn't even acknowledge her. His eyes were set on me. Smiling at him a bit, he returned it. The waitress huffed and left us alone after awhile. We joked about how she was going to spit in our food, and requested another waiter to bring our food.
"So how's Seaside going for you?" Mike asked as he leaned forward a bit more. He did that thing when you fold your hands together. Shrugging my shoulders, I explained to him clubbing all night, every night wasn't really my forte. "Really? Because I could've sworn it was." He told me with a serious expression.
"I don't know, I got bored of it after the first couple nights. I guess I'm not used to it." I shrugged my shoulders again, sipping the Coke I ordered. "Tell me about yourself Mike." I leaned in as well, making my foot go up and down his leg. He smirked when I did this, and started talking about where he was from.
"And you?" He asked after he finished explaining his story.
"I'm from Brookes Point. All the way in the Philippines." I told him. He asked more about it, what it was like there, how the weather was, and what not.
[Mike, 3rd Person Point of View]
[Mike: So I'm on my date wit' Adellah, and she's just a really cute, funny girl! On top of that, here she is playin' footsie wit' me under the table. I really like this girl.]
Once the two finish up their food, Mike left the money on the table, and left the restaurant with Adellah, hand in hand. Inside, he couldn't help but feel the slightest bit...bubbly. Something about her made him feel that way, and he liked it. Mike didn't want to admit this, but he was falling for someone in the Jersey Shore. Something you should never do. He tried to push those feelings back.
"You wanna go to the clubs wit' me tonight? The whole house is going so you'd see them all again." Mike asked Adellah, with hope in his eyes. He didn't want her to leave so soon, even though they spent three hours together. It was nearing nine o clock, and Mike had to leave around eleven with his friends.
"Sure, which one?" Adellah answered with a small smile, as she swung their arms back, and forth in a bored fashion.
"Karma." He says. After that, he told her that he'll come pick her up with the others. "Max could come too, if she wants." He looked behind her, to see the house they're renting.
"Oh she's off on a business trip, so I'm alone in the house." Adellah shrugged her shoulders as if it was nothing. Mike was happy inside, because he really didn't want her to be around her friend the entire night either. (Though he knew that was unlikely.) "But listen. I'll go with you on one condition."
"Yeah?" Mike's heart nearly fell when she said this. He was actually nervous to hear what she had to say.
"You can't, I repeat, can't be flirting, or doing shit with other girls." She said to him, tracing random patterns on his chest with her pointer finger. Mike put this into consideration. A billion other grenades to dance with, or just one girl who has it all for the entire night? "You wanna do some body shots? Okay do them on me. You wanna make out with someone in the middle of the dance floor, okay make out with me. But if you sœver do anything else with another girl tonight, I'm out." She simply stated her condition to him, now pressed up against him.
"Aight, I can do that. Besides, why would I wanna do body shots wit' a million grenades, when I can have you for the entire night?" Mike blurted out, though he didn't mean to say it. That was just a mere thought he wanted to keep in. Wrapping his arms around her waist, hers made it around his neck. A smile was on both their faces as they leaned into kiss each other.
[Adellah's P.O.V.]
I felt a small spark on my lips when they touched his. He slipped his tongue in my mouth, and my heartbeat began to accelerate. Hopefully, he didn't realize this. Wanting to leave him needing more of me, I pulled back before anything else happened.
"Bye Mike." I smiled seductively, waving at him while I walked away. He had a shocked expression on his face, as if he was trying to grasp why I did that. He yelled saying he was coming around my house at eleven thirty. Yelling an okay back, we both went our ways.
