Continuation of Flashback
He ran to our direction, but seungcheol pulled something from his pocket. It was a knife. He grabbed me and pointed the knife near my neck.
"Don't come near, or else... Alam mo na" sabi ni seungcheol then he smirked. Lalo akong natakot... Ayoko na..
But he walked forward. Gusto ba nito na mamatay na ako agad agad?
"pare, matigas to, alam niyo na" seungcheol said to his friends then his friends attacked the guy..
nagpalitan lang sila ng mga suntok, pero almost lahat ng suntok, naiiwasan nung lalaki.
But then Soonyoung got the right timing kaya tumama yung suntok niya sa may gilid ng labi nung lalaki. the guy cursed, then the next thing I knew is, nakahiga na sina wonwoo at soonyoung sa sahig, with blood on their faces.
"Huh, no way. Natalo mo si Soonyoung? Eh representative yan ng school namin para sa martial arts?" Seungcheol loosened his grip on me and he walked towards the guy, playing with his knife.
I don't know if I should run away or what.. Parang, may mali kasi eh.
"iba ka.. Iba ka talaga" seungcheol laughed and attacked the guy. He was about to stab the guy but the guy caught his arms, and he bended it.
"A-Aaw!!" Seungcheol said.
"oh ano? Mukha ka tuloy aso ngayon? Aw ka ng aw." Sabi nung guy, may pagka slang yung boses niya, at halata mo sa mukha niya na amerikano siya.
He kicked seungcheol's stomach, he got the knife then he ran to me.
"Let's go." He dragged me out of that street at nakakagulat dahil alam niya kung saan ako nakatira.
I was still crying that time, but i found my voice and managed to ask him.
"Sino ka ba?" He stopped running, and he let go of my hand.
"you don't remember me huh?" He said, bakit? Sino ba siya?
"why? Dapat ba kitang maalala, I don't know you." I said moving away from him
"i'm vernon." He sighed
"wala akong kilalang vernon." I said
"Pero may kilala akong Chaeyoung." I was shocked because he knew my name. "13 years ago, iniyakan mo ang pagalis ko, umamin ka na may gusto ka sakin, pero hindi sapat na dahilan yun para magstay ako dito." Wait, hindi..
"Teka teka.. May ganun ngang kwento.. Pero Hansol ang pangalan niya.. Hindi Vernon." I told him, confused.
"My name is Hansol Vernon Chwe, I used vernon kasi nga nasa US ako, at sa tingin mo bakit ako mapapadaan sa street na yun? Pinasundo ka sakin ng mama mo kasi gabi na, kahit kakauwi ko lang kaninang umaga, sinundo parin kita, pero umalis ka na daw sabi nung guard. Tapos nakita kita dun kanina." Woah!
I touched his cheeks, binaling ko yung ulo niya, left and right. Siya nga!
"OMG HANSOLLLL!!!" I said as I hugged him
"sa wakas naalala mo na." He said as he hugged me back
End of Flashback
"Vernon.." I said as I finished drinking.
"yes?"
"bakit ganun.. Palagi mo nalang akong sinasagip.. Pag may nangyayari sakin, nandyan ka palagi. Pag umiiyak ako andyan ka palagi---"
"Because that's what I want, I want to protect you, I don't want to see you cry.. Because, it hurts." He said looking down
"but... Why?" I asked still confused
"Because.." He looked into my eyes. "i like you.. No, scratch that.. I love you, so much." He said, holding my hand.
Na-ispeechless ako, all this time, he was actually in love with me.
"I--"
"bumalik ka na sa trabaho mo kung okay ka na. " he said cutting me off with a sweet smile. Then he walked out
What was that all about?
