This only came out on Tuesday, and now the FFF's (Fisherman's Friends Fans/ Friends), or fisheads, according to Jon Cleave (hmph) are trying to get it into the charts, in memory of Trevor and Paul. Please help us if you can- the song's on the side, and I really doubt that you cannnot watch it without smiling. THe lead singer is Trevor. (See the description of "Falling Stars" for what happened. Or just search "Trevor Grills" into Google.)

The early sun is rising,

and the shine goes down my shoulder,

I can't come back to bed,

Even though I want to hold ya,

The gulls they scream a pain,

Through the storm we've got to solider,

As you lay I slip away,

And whisper my regret.

It breaks my heart to see you sad, ah,

Time will not look back, until then....

Mary Anne, won't you wait,

Tell me that you love me, and I know I'll be okay,

Mary Anne, say you'll stay,

Keep the fire burning 'til it guides me home again.

This coat is getting heavy,

But the rain it keeps me sober,

Waking up alone, it is a hard thing to get over,

I count the days to shore,

Every minute brings me closer,

Say goodbye, that's a lie,

No breaking hearts forget.

When storms arise, sing louder,

Soon, his arms will be round her again....

Mary Anne, won't you wait,

Tell me that you love me, and I know I'll be okay,

Mary Anne, say you'll stay,

Keep the fire burning 'til it guides me home again.

It breaks my heart to see you sad, ah,

Time will not look back, until then....

*Really cheesy moment!!*

Mary Anne, won't you wait,

Tell me that you love me, and I know I'll be okay,

Mary Anne, say you'll stay,

Keep the fire burning 'til it guides me home again.

Mary Anne, won't you wait,

Tell me that you love me, and I know I'll be okay,

Mary Anne, say you'll stay,

Keep the fire burning 'til it guides me home again.

-Mary Anne, Port Isaac's Fisherman's Friends.

It was only released two days ago, and is the first single of the new album, One and All. It was due out in March, but after the tragic loss of Paul and Trevor (who led this song. Very cheerfully, even though Jon always took the mick of his "bloody miserable songs" -his words, not mine) they have only just announced its release date- 19th Aughust 2013

CAN'T WAIT!!

These lyrics are only rough, as there are no official lyrics out yet, and Trev. has an extremely heavy Cornish accent.

If any of the Fisherman's Friends read this, then a)

HOLY FUDGE BALLS!! HOW YOU FIND ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

*COLLAPSES.*

*THEN REALISES THAT COLLAPSING IN A KILT IS A VERY BAD IDEA.*

b) Are the lyrics right?? I've got hearing about as good as Jon Cleave's sense of humour.

(I make no comment on my own sense of humour. Uh oh)

And c) I may see you in August.

I'm nagging my parents to let me come down to Port Isaac.

Until then,

Dha Weles!!

(Agh- I'm learning by ear, so I'm now scrambling for spellijngs!!

NOt that I can spell anyway!!)

My a yll kewsel Kernewk!!

*I can speak Cornish!!*

jeez. spelling in Cornish is WAY more fin than spelling in English!!

Nos dha!!

Z xx
