Alexandra's POV
Tila ba tumigil ang mundo ko ng ilang segundo sa aking mga narinig.
Gusto kong gumalaw ngunit ayaw ng katawan ko.
Gusto kong magsalita pero walang tunog ang lumalabas sa bibig ko.
I'm paralyzed for a moment.
"Sige na sasha, ako na bahala sa mga bata. Tatawagan ko na lang yung nanny ni seanella na pumunta dito" Rinig kong sabi ni Gab sa bestfriend ko.
Kinuha na ni Gabriella si Chloe sa lap ko at lumapit naman agad si Sasha.
"Sis, if the news are true, then you have to be strong. Nate needs you...your family needs your strength"
I blinked and stared at her.
Paano ako magiging malakas?
I can barely move my feet.
"Alexandra" She repeated my name twice for me to respond to her.
Tumingin ako sa triplets ko.
They were all looking at me as if they knew that something's wrong.
For once ay naging tahimik sila at nakatitig lang sa akin.
Don't worry my babies, your dad is fine. I know he is.
Without a word, I ran upstairs to get my phone.
Sumunod agad si Sasha to look after me.
"Come on nate! Pick up!" I shouted after a few rings.
WHY ISN'T HE PICKING UP HIS PHONE?!
"Damn it!!!! Ano ba!" I almost threw my phone, buti na lang ay pinakalma ako ni Sasha.
"Hindi naman totoo yun di'ba? Okay naman si Nathan di'ba?" I asked her.
Nanghihina na ako.
Halo-halong emosyon na ang nararamdaman ko ngayon.
Naguguluhan ako sa mga nangyayari.
"Sis----"
"BAKA NAGKAMALI LANG SILA NG BANGGIT NG PANGALAN! HINDI KASI PWEDE YON! HINDI PWEDENG MABARIL SI NATE!"
Paikot-ikot na ko dito sa kwarto habang paulit-ulit kong sinusubukang tawagan ang cellphone ni Nathan.
