As Blakley, an eighteen year old avid reader, spends the day in the lodge as her family skis, she's left trapped as the snowfall picks up leaving no way for her to reach her cabin. Without knowing how long she has to stay at the lodge, Blakley finds ways to pass the time.

Hello! Welcome to my short story for the holidays. If you are reading this between the dates 18-24 in December of 2015, then the story isn't completed.
