Nyoxis and Night wandered and wandered,
The prophesied was puzzled as to why there were no disturbances.
Where did everything go?

Beside her, Night was also bewildered, but for a different reason.
He didn't want to know where everything had gone,
For he already had the answer for that riddle.
Are they permanently gone?
When they went to sleep that morning,
Nyoxis tucked safely under his arm,
Night could not find sleep.
His eyes were closed, but this, this was not sleep.
This was an infernal hell expanding in his mind,
An infernal hell that made him toss and turn in his sleep,
An infernal hell that coated his hands in slick red blood,
An infernal hell that made him feel as if the strands of his sanity
Were being harshly ripped apart at the seams.
Images of violence and scenes that no horror movie
Could ever bring justice to played through his mind;
Some being memories, others being the works of something entirely different.
At the exact same time, Nyoxis and Night
Awoke with a scream so loud that it caught the attention,
The attention of several people walking on the sidewalks,
The attention of several people who could not see,
Who could not see the several ghouls,
The several desireys and the several soul-seekers
Surrounding the Caelestibus girl,
But not paying any attention to the raven haired boy,
The raven haired boy sitting right beside her with uneven breaths.
Nyoxis' hand reached for the dagger set safely in her belt,
As she looked at the shy boy, the shy boy who she trusted,
With a look a look of fright that grew in horror,
When she saw that she was the only one being surrounded.
Night stood up before taking her hand and pulling her to her feet,
He raced toward a corner, dragging her with him as she regained her balance.
They flew around the corner,
Barely missing pedestrians going in the opposite direction,
They raced down the avenue, a map of the city
Captured in Night's head as he led them to a warehouse
Before pushing Nyx inside and jumping in after her.
