I was staring at the top
Of the tree up above
And there I just saw
The dreams I'll never have
suddenly a monkey!
That looks exactly like me
That has more enthusiasm
And thinks more positively
Just passed by
The startled me
And stood up
in front of the tree
He stared at it..
so very intently
I thought he was crazy
but, hah! silly me
He started climbing it
just like normal monkeys did
Then I started realizing
Oh, just how foolish can I be?
How did I forget,
I am also a monkey!
Just like him, I have every ability
To reach my dream, to climb the wonderful tree!
If I realized sooner, I would have climbed first, actually.
But, no!
What took over me is worry, worry, worry!
I was full of useless negativity!
