chapter 28

Snotlout POV

Finally hookfang and I landed in arendelle. Not wasting any time we landed right in the courtyard of the palace. I still can't believe she's a queen. It was still hard for me to picture elsa in a fancy dress on a fancy throne wearing a fancy crown. But where was everybody? The whole place was empty. It seemed kind of off to me. Then a official looking man came and approached us. I suppose me being a viking and all and with hookfang we looked severely out of place

"If you're from berk leave now!" He ordered me. Nobody orders ME around!

"Ecxuse me?" I spat at him. Rude much! He just glared at me

"Look im just here to deliver a stupid message! Your precious queen is safe from drago and she'll be home soon" the man looked at me strangely and I gave him a 'what?' Look

"Whoever that is didn't kidnap her. It was the chief of Burks son hiccup" the man said

"Why would you think that?" I demanded

"Because of the letter that we received from him demanding a ransom! The princess and arendelle entire army are on their way to burk to punish them for kidnapping their queen" he said in a duh tone. Not good. So not Good! Quickly i hopped on hookfang and we took off for burk st full speed

Elsas POV

Hiccups hands kept a firm grip on my arms to keep me from moving away and his lips were locked firmly onto mine. His kiss showed so much love for me, desire and passion. How could he do that if he faked loving me? Then finally he pulled away and left me to stare into his deep green eyes in complete shock

"I love you elsa. From the second I saw you I loved you. Whatever was in that letter wasn't true. I didnt write it. I would never ever do that to you" he stared intently at me and i had no words. What do you even say in this sort of situation?

"But if you didn't then who did?" I asked after a moment of silence

"My father. Once he found out of your power he was scared. But I'm not. I'm going to prove to you that I love you" his gaze was so determined. It was clear that he wasn't lieing

"How?" I asked still unsure of what to do

"Marry me" marry him? I was in complete shock of what he had just said. I fefinitely wasnt expecting that. And one look at his face told me neither was he. That's when snotlout burst in completely out of breath and and hiccup shot him a severely annoyed look

"Get mad at me all you want but drago left a letter at arendelle that said that we kidnapped her and they are on their way with war ships!" He said gesturing to me. Wait what?

"Seriously? Is making people think I wrote something that I didn't going to be a thing now?" He sighed in clear annoyance

"Makes sense. If the army was gone it would have made it easier to attack arendelle" Snotlout commented. my stomach twisted st the thought of arendelle being attacked. I loved arendelle and it's people dearly and for us to got to war is an unbearable thought. Just then a loud horn sounded. An arendelle war horn to be exact. Quickly I shot up but winced when I put wight on my injured leg. Hiccup grabbed my arm

"No way! Elsa you still need rest and you shouldn't be using that leg" he said his eyes fixed on me and they were filled with concern

"Well if I don't calm my sister down and show her that I'm alright she will not hesitate to pulverize burk" he sighed in agreement and swooped me up in his arms

"What are you doing!" I demanded shocked at what he had just done

"Carrying you" he replied simply as he walked ouside towards toothless

"Why?"

"Because I love you elsa" I kept my mouth shut after that. He placed me on toothless and we flew down to the docks. Snotlout was right. There was a lage army headed right for us. Anna would probably be on the boat leading the attack so that the boat we landed on. All of the men pointed heir swords, crossbows, etc at us. Hiccup held up his hands as I hopped off of toothless

"Stand down I'm alright" I ordered them. Then Anna came rushing out from behind the guards and hugged me.

"You're Okay! I was so worried about you" she exclaimed happily

"Wait what happened to your face! And you're leg and who's shirt is that?" She demanded all at once. Hiccups shirt came down to my knees so it wasn't like I was exposed or anything but it still felt a little awkward. Then she turned her gaze towards hiccup.

"Is that hiccup?" She asked forcing a smile and i nodded my response. Only to regret it afterwards.

"You foul loathsome evil cockroach!" She screamed as she made her way towards hiccup but toothless growled so she stayed back. Then another familiar face made her way towards the crowd. Eva. I was so happy to see her and i could tell she was happy to see me too. But there was something I had to do. I made my way towards hiccup who looked as if he was getting ready to take off

"About what you said earlier-"

"Elsa you don't have to give me an answer. Yet" I looked up at him confused and he sighed

"I don't want to pressure you. I know that there is a possibility that you moved on and you don't love me anymore. But if you still do within a month come to burk. If you do I'll know that you want to be with me. If you don't...." he trailed off knowing I had gotten the point. His eyes had a sadness in them

"What will you do in the meantime?"

"Theres a few things I need to discuss with my father. And elsa?"

"Yes?" My voice barely a whisper. He cupped my face in his hands as he leaned down to kiss me. I cant be feeling like this. It can't be true. He finally pulled away and i stared intently into his beautiful eyes that sparkled like emeralds

"Incase you don't come back" he whispered so only i could hear. And then he flew away. Anna signaled for the caption to turn the boat around. Anna tried to encourage me to lie down but her words went in through one ear and out the other. I couldn't keep my eyes off the spot where hiccup stood in the harbour watching us as we faded away.

(A/N Im wearing my pajamas inside out tonight, I'm putting a spoon under my pillow and flushing an ice cube down the toilet! Classic snow day rituals😂. Anyways I hope you all enjoyed his chapter and thank you all for 2k reads! Unfortunately this book is nearing it's end😢. That's that I guess.
