A/N: This story has quite a few chapters left but the flashbacks are coming very close to a... Close. I know, don't cry. But I do want to prepare you guys for the feels in this chapter.

Also, the song I posted to this chapter is kind of what I imagined would be going through Hollis head at the realization of everything.

------------------------------------------------------

I walked into the safe house behind Aurey, Shay behind me.

When I'm fully into the seemingly cabin like living room, I see Ten and she rushes to me.

"I'm so glad you're safe." She whispers.

She cared? It was the first time anyone has ever expressed sentiment for me, aside from Jack, of course.

"We wouldn't let a damn thing happen to her." Amber smiles.

"Am I essential to something?" I raise my brow.

Of course I had curiosities, and that pit in my stomach couldn't hold much longer. I had to ask. Something was wrong and I could feel it.

"You're essential to everything." Ten says honestly, earning a smack from Amber.

"Everything?" I ask, feeling my body shiver.

"What? The girl oughta know." Ten wasn't dodging any bullets and I pull out my gun, pointing it at Quinn.

"Oh.. Honey.." Quinn giggles, kicking my wrist as the gun drops.

"It's nothing bad. Just..." Quinn's facial expression of resting bitch face faded and was quickly replaced with sadness.

"Just helping Ten kill Nisha..." She sighs, shoving the gun back into my chest.

"How am I essential to that?" I ask, clenching the gun in my finger tips.

"Because we know you're going to do a hell of a job." Ten says, going to sit next to Quinn.

I look around the room and see absolute sorrow in everyone's faces. They were still hiding something, I wasn't an idiot. In my head, bouncing up and down was mini Ten, telling me to fix the shuttle and fly to back to Helios and be gone by morning. But looking at all of my friends, my real friends, well, maybe aside from Quinn, I couldn't leave.

I was there to help them.

After a long night of practically silence, I fell asleep, finding it strange that Jack hadn't even bothered to contact my echo.

After a long 6 hours of sleep, I wake up to water being dumped on me.

"We've got to hurry! Wake your damn ass up!" Quinn shouts.

I look around and notice the same expression on everyone's faces as last night.

Shay was trying to put something into her stomach but it seemed that she couldn't even swallow. Amber was mindlessly cleaning weapons, periodically looking out at the marvelous sunrise, as if she were dreaming she were somewhere else. Aurey was putting her gear on, messing with her echo eye and mumbling to herself, as if she needed to mentally prepare, I thought she was praying. Quinn was washing up her face, staring blankly into the mirror ahead, looking as if she was disgusted with herself, her cheeks growing red with anger.

Lastly, there was Ten, the most chipper of them all, wearing a gentle grin.

"Ready girls? Get into the caravan. Now. We don't have much time." Ten says, grabbing her own Atlas weapon and walking onto the caravan parked directly outside, getting into the drivers seat.

The rest of the girls followed suit and I was last, end of the pack. Before leaving the safe house I tried contacting Jack, and I got a tiny bit of reception, able to see his face, and something glowing around him before the signal cut out. It scared me, he looked like he was struggling and there was something loud, it looked as if it were going to attack him. I couldn't see it, but something was there.

"You guys! You guys I think Jacks in trouble! I can't! Get ahold- you guys this is serious!" No one was listening to me, everyone just stares blankly ahead out of the windshield.

"Hey!" I shout, walking up to all of them.

"Are you guys... Ignoring me?!" I begin to breathe heavily and can feel myself shaking.

I look over to the GPS and notice that there was nothing linking us to Lynchwood. We weren't going to kill Nisha. At all.

"You guys..." I whisper, falling to my knees.

All of the signs were there and I was just too blind to see it, I didn't want to see it.

"Please..." I whisper more, glancing up and noticing Ten curl her lip under, trying to prevent herself from crying.

Amber was also trying to keep the tears at bay, but Aurey looked nervous, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.

"I need to save Jack..." I say, getting up and racing for the door, but Shay pulled me back.

I was to sad to even fight, but I did scream.

"Let me go! You're a fucking liar! You're all fucking liars! Let me go you son of a bitch! I hate you! I fucking hate you!" I scream between sobs.

Everyone still continued to stay quiet, listening to me cry.

Finally, after a long 20 minutes of weeping and Shay clenching onto me for dear life so that I wouldn't jump out of the door, Quinn clears her throat.

"Do we need to sedate her?" She pipes up.

My eyes felt like fireballs and my throat was as dry as sand.

"No. I think she's okay. We need her strength. In case things get messy." Shay mutters, laying me down onto the floor.

I felt emotionless and just laid there, the last few months flashing before my eyes. Meeting Jack, falling for him, meeting real friends, feeling betrayed by Jack, and then them, I wasn't sure who I was most upset with, who really deserves my hatred.

"Shit!" Ten shouts, Amber rushing up behind her.

"Fuck! Hit the brakes!"

Before Ten could even lift her foot, the caravan was flung into the air, my body crashing to the ceiling.

As soon as we're back on the ground, I notice Ten has gone limp, unconscious.

"Ten?!" I ask, running to her.

I shake her relentlessly and once again, our caravan is thrown, spiraling along the ground.

I hold onto Ten tightly and watch as the other girls break the door open with their bodies smashing together, falling outside.

"Ten! Come on! Speak!" I didn't think I could produce anymore tears, but I was able to.

I clenched her hair into my fist and when I let go I notice an incredible amount of blood coming from her head.

"No.." I whisper, bringing her body to mine.

"I won't let them get away with this." I say to her, taking her out of the caravan with me.

I notice Shay, Amber and Aurey arguing, and right above them is something terrifying. A large guardian made of a fiery stone, destroying land beneath him, and controlling the damn thing was none other than... Jack.

This was the warrior. This was Jacks master plan.
