Not What it Seems

Jano's resolve

Before I arrived Jano was challenged to a fight with Romario for Asako's life and without hesitation he accepted. Jano rushed Romario and Romario laughed "come now so you really think that will work?" He said.  Before he got closer Jano spit a liquid into the air and revealed a flame thrower from his jacket and turned it on. He covered himself with the jacket before the impact hit him. Before Romario fully understood what happened Jano had grabbed a smaller version of Markus's flashlight. He turned it on and the flames around Romario got sucked in and blasted Romario with a ball of fire. Romario got up and slashed at Jano but he pulled out another new weapon. It was a thin long looking pen of some kind. With a click of a button a flame popped out of it and it extended out many feet forming a flame sword. Jano sliced the attack and charged at Romario. "How did he make that?" Natasha asked. "He used a electron field that keeps the flames from escaping that specific area and then all he had to do was put a burner and a small fan and boom flame sword" Negeda said. "You are good for a human but not against the demon king!" Romario said as he began taking the flames from Jano's blade. "No he's going to brake the electron field!" Negenda yelled. Romario called the flames and the barrier holding onto the flames was unleashed and all of it went to Jano. Jano was hit directly and all that was seen was a gulf of fire. "JANO!" Asako yelled. "Your weren't bad I'll give you that but now it's over" Romario said. "NOT YET!!!" A voice said as Romario was blasted with another fire ball in the back. From the flames Jano arose in his jacket or should I say fire proof jacket. "As I pyrotechnic I can't die by fire that would be lame". "Then how about you die in pieces!" Romario yelled. Jano dodged and fired again but this time Romario took control and fired it back at him. He took the hit with his jacket and ran up to Romario. He fired again but this time when Romario threw it back Jano already fired another making them clash as he headbutted Romario before he fell to the ground. Jano laided of the ground with blood of his forehead laughing. Romario stood dazed as he saw his blood drop to the floor. This enraged him so much that more clouds began to from and gather around Romario. "You have done something that no one has ever done......this is a punishment far worse than death could ever think of being, the near sight of my power will be enough to send you to your grave where you will rot in hell for all eternity!" Romario yelled as the sun was seen once again but only to be turned into the moon. All the clouds formed around Romario and became a smoke that Romario absorbed before a gust of terror was sent out making everyone fall back. From the smoke came something far worse then Romario. Its eyes were crimson red with teeth like that of a shark. It had no lower body more of a smoke form that seemed to keep moving. It looked at its hands with claws sharper than its teeth and smiled. With in seconds it looked at Asako and one scream was heard before Asako was lying on the ground with over 1000 cuts all over her body. With tears in his eyes Jano ran at Asako but as he crossed Romario he felt his whole body sink and he fell to the ground. Unable to move he only could look at Asako lying on the ground. "No.....Asako....I'm......I'm...." Jano said trying to crawl passed Romario. "Your a fool" Romario said. With a slight move of his hand all Jano's will was taking away from him and he laid there with an empty look in his eyes. Romario then walked up to Jano and lifted his head up for his hair, his claws bearly able to not cut his hair. "I'm not letting you go down that easily" Romario said as he tapped Jano on the head waking him up again. Jano looked at Romario knowing he couldn't do a thing but still tried to look Romario in a eyes with a determined look. "Your rather strong willed aren't you?" Romario said "Let's fix that". With these words Romario slammed Jano's head back down and went to the back of him. "Let's see.....hmmm......how about....... a leg" Romario says as he cut right through Jano's right heel. With a scream Jano looked at Romario with hatred in his eyes "I'm far from done you bastard" Jano said smirking. This didn't amuse Romario in the slightest.
"Very well left elbow" he said as he continued to torture Jano. After many cuts later Romario grew rather tired of their game and made a new rule. "Each minute I will ask you if you give, if it's yes then your done if it's no......then I'll cut off a whole limb, okay?" Romario said. Jano didn't say a word. "I said is that okay!?" Romario said chopping off Jano's left foot. One minute passed and Romario stared at Jano. "Do you give?" He said. "Jano looked at him and spat. "I see......right ear it is". "Do you give?" He said once again. "F.....fuck you" Jano said smiling. "You really like pissing me off!" Romario said cutting off his right arm. "Now spare me the time and say I give" Romario said. "As long as my friends are fighting and I have a will I will never SUBJECT TO YOU!!!" Jano yelled. "That's a shame" Romario said walking up to Jano. Each step a body part was cut off. After 5 steps Jano was no more than a head with a torso. "This has been fun but all good things must come to an end. Goodbye.......Jano" Romario said as he went down for a decapitation. With a final scream all that was left was a bloody and still twitching torso. Jano's head had the same empty expression as before. "JANO! JANO! JANO!" Voices could be heard off in the distance. Jano's vision came too and he saw his friends all calling to him. He tried to move his body and actually could. He felt his legs and feet and his head was still on. "Don't bother I've put him through a mental torture that no one can go through he'll be a empty shell for the rest of his life" Romario said laughing. "As long.....as I breath......." Jano said lightly as he began to crawl. "As long as my friends fight...." He got closer and closer to Asako who was losing so much blood she be dead in minutes. "I will not give up!" Jano said as he got up and ran to her falling right at her side. "Jano.......I'm so cold" Asako said trying to grab Jano's hand. "Don't be, I'll keep you warm" Jano said as he grabbed her hand and hugged her close. "I'm sorry I can't keep being with you but it should be okay, I'm replaceable" Asako said. "No your not your so much more than my helper your my.....lover". With Jano pushing his mind to the limit and Asako willing herself to keep living for these last few minutes the two looked into each others eyes and with the last of their strength released all their passion in a fiery kiss. Asako's lips stopped moving as her body grew limp and her eyes closed. With the final tears in his eyes Jano said the last words to her as a goodbye "I will always love you....Asako". With these words Jano fell to her side unconsious, both still holding hands. Jano's mind began thinking of all the good times they had together from the first time they meet to the first time they found out they liked each other. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you....." Jano said in his mind. He saw a picture of her and the others girls with him when they went out hunting for a specimen last summer. "But your damn sure I'm not giving in yet!!!!". In a flash of memories all of the mental torture Romario put Jano through disappeared and it was all covered with the sound of all of them laughing together and living a normal life. Before Jano knew it he was up and facing Romario once again. In his eyes he had a new look, not angry, not revenge.....But Revolve.
