Celebrating Your Birthday

Cole's P.O.V-
"Okay the decorations are up, her presents are on the end of the table, and the food is ready.  I feel like I'm missing something."

I look at everything set up for y/n's birthday party. I want everything go great for her special day.

"Oh the cake!"

How did I miss the most important dessert of today?!
 
I asked Jay to go pick it up, so I leave to go find him.
But as I walk out of the kitchen I hear a loud thud.

"Jay! What did you do now?!" I yelled.

I ran to where the noise came from. Then I see Jay on the floor, with his face in what I think is....y/n's cake?!

"Jay is that what I think it is?"

Jay gets up from the floor and points at Kai, who is hiding behind the door frame.

"Kai tripped me which made me fall and ruin y/n's cake."

"No, Jay is just too clumsy."Kai says.

They start to argue with each other for a while until I break up the fight.

"Okay guys stop! It's both of your fault. Now we don't have a cake for y/n's party tonight."

"Why don't you just go get another one?"

"Because we don't have the time.
Y/n will be back in 10 minutes!"

I start to pace back and forth, until I come up with an idea.

"I know! I can make the cake!"

Jay and Kai start laughing at me.

"Yeah, umm Cole if your going to make a cake then have Zane do it. He could probably cook it faster and it would still turn out good." Kai says.

"Is my cooking really that bad?"

Jay and Kai open their mouths but then I stop them.

"Nevermind, forget I asked that. Jay go wash your face, Kai go get Lloyd to help me and Zane with the cake."

"Got it!" They said and ran off, and I ran to the kitchen hoping we will finish before y/n get's here.

Time Skip...............

*knock, knock*

   That must be y/n. Everything is finally in place. I go to open the door, and was welcomed with a hug.

"I'm back. Did you miss me?"

"Yes I did." I kissed her on the cheek.

"You must be hungry let's go into the kitchen, and see what we have."

"Okay" she said. I made sure that she walked in front of me.

Once she entered the kitchen, I turned on the light. Then everyone, including me, jumped up.

"Surprise! Happy Birthday y/n!" We all said.

"Aww Thanks you guys." She hugged everyone.

"Cole, did you plan this?"

"With a little help from everyone." I smiled.

"Now who wants some cake?!" Jay shouts, and everyone cheers as they grab plates, and Zane starts to cut the cake.

"Well, do you like your party?"

"Like it? I love it!" She hugged me tight. We stayed like that for a little while until we were, interupted.
