I'm Engaged!!!

Today was a day filled with doctors and a final show. Mama was a bit anxious not for the show, but for the appointments.Mama didn't realize that she had set up both of our appointments for the same day
Daddy came downstairs, after getting dressed, to see mama who was dressed and ready to go.

"I forgot to ask you..." He began as he entered the living room. "Did you want me to drop you off at the doctor's office and then go with Avia or did you want to drop us off then head to your appointment?" He asked

"Wait what are you talking about? She doesn't have her appointment today." She said and he nodded.

"...Yes she does. Yours is at 10:30 and hers is at 11:00." he said

"CRAPPP!!!!" She said

"You didn't know you scheduled them for the same day? I thought you did that on purpose." He asked She put her hand on her forehead and shook her head.

"When was I making the appointments, Shelby was screaming and just I just said yes to dates and times." She said

"Oh honey..." He said sympathetically

"I'm just so stressed out." She said

"Hey..." He walked closer to her and rubbed her arms comfortingly. "Don't worry." He said

"I can't go to her visit." She said

"But I'll be there with her. She'll be fine. She might not even want me to go." He said

"That's true." She nodded

"Everything is going to be okay. Okay?" He asked

"Okay." She nodded

"That's my girl." He smiled. She smiled and pecked his lips. He returned the kiss.

"I'd ask if you'd want to sit for a minute or two, but it looks like you're raring to go." He said

"Yeah. We still gotta get the baby ready. Is Bubs up." She asked

"Okay. Want me to come up with you?" He asked grabbing hold of her hand. She nodded. He gave a small smile and they walked upstairs, hand in hand, to get Shelby ready.

"Hi little man." Mama said. Shelby smiled and cooed. She smiled at him. He made a few small noises and reached for her. Mama picked him up and kissed him. He giggled

"You ready to go baby?" She asked. He cooed and flapped his arms a bit. Dad smiled

"Wanna say good morning to daddy?" Mama said with a smile. She giggled and flapped his arms around. Daddy moved behind mama's shoulder.

"Hi little man!" He smiled. He smiled and reached for his face. Daddy leaned forward a bit so Shelby could grab his faceHe giggled and smiled Daddy grinned. "We have to get you ready." He told Shelby He cooed and babbled

"Well, I can help get you dressed, but I can't pick it out." Daddy said, as if carrying on a conversation with him. "Your mama is best at that." He said. Shelby started talking. He liked to talk. Daddy chuckled.

"I can pick it out, but I'm telling you...she's not gonna let you wear it." He said

"I might." Mama said

"Ok..." daddy said, going through Shelby's clothes. "This one." He asked

"Pick what you want." She said

"...You're sure?" He asked

"Yep. I gotta go wake the big baby up." She pecked his lips and rubbed his side

"Good luck." He said with a chuckle

"Thanks ill need it." She giggled. She headed down the stairs to my room and quietly entered my room.
