[Third Person's Point of View]
"He won't listen to me," Rose complained, pacing back and forth on her human's roof. Leaning against the chimney was her best angel, Christian, who she deemed the wisest at the moment.
"Humans are like that," he answered, adding more to her frustration.
She rolled her eyes and said, "But it's silly. I'm his Guardian Angel and I know pretty well that the woman—who is currently shaken up by the recent incident and under his roof—is not his soulmate. Why can't he just believe me?" She couldn't help it but feel bitter, especially toward a certain lady.
Christian didn't bother giving her an answer for he knew not the answer. He just watched her pace back and forth with a smile lingering on his lips. Rose finally stopped pacing and sat down, her legs stretched out on the roof. Her satin red dress spread around like a pool of blood. Christian mentally told himself not to think of it. She was past that point. She didn't need to go back or remember it at all.
She pouted her lips and looked at Christian, a question teasing her mind.
"Christian?"
He smiled at her replied, "What?"
She looked deep in thought for moment before deciding. "How did I become an angel?" she asked, looking at him with her mischievous, yet, innocent brown eyes. Her question struck him like a lightning bolt .
He shifted uncomfortably and said, "You were a good person, a really good person." That was not what she wanted to hear exactly. She knew all the 'good' people become angels, but how? What was her story? What did she do that was good enough for Heaven? Her mood was worse than before.
"You have to know more than," she mumbled under her breath. Rose opened her hands and a white moonflower blossomed. She set it down gently on her lap and Christian watched it withered away on her lap, turning into specks of dust. That was how special she was to him. If anything, she was the best when it came to flowers.
She sighed and said, "Christian, I really want to know. More about myself, I mean." The desperation in her voice shook him to the core. He found himself succumbing to her innocent plea.
"Heirloom Garden," he answered, standing up straight. "Go there. It's a good place to start."
His white wings opened up and fluttered a few times. Then he disappeared.
Rose walked into Dimitri's home and heard Lady Natasha talking. She did not care about the lady, but one look from her was enough to catch his attention. He excused himself and gestured to the stairs that led to the upper floor. The angel with black wings found it strange that his bedroom was not up there.
Once they reached the top of the stairs, he opened a door and they walked in. He turned on the lights and closed the door.
"Are you alright?" He asked her, immediately.
