I went into our room today.

He wasn't there.

I walked in, my breathing becoming uneven; the smell of him surrounding me, suffocating me like the time I fell asleep and he pressed a pillow to my face, the fabric soaking up my tears as I begged him to stop.

The bed was like we left it, my side made while his was a mess making a bitter smile come to my face.

Slowly I layed down, closing my eyes as I turned towards him. I opened my eyes to see him lying beside me, his green eyes bright, the smile on his face causing one to come to my own. He pulled me into his arms pressing a kiss to my forehead before he whispered his question,

"Do you love me, sunflower?"

I will always love you Atlantic, my deep and vast ocean, because you showed me what love could be like, and what love could make you do.
