I snuggled up to Martyn. We had been doing this for a while now, meeting in secret. Neither Toby or Zoey knew of this and we planned to keep it that way.  Together we were watching a scary movie. I didn't lke it, the killer had a horrible place and had a habit of hopping out of anywhere. Martyn's arm was around me, it was soft  and warm and I felt myself melting into it. "Kaeyi, are you alright?" Martyn asked me, his eyes catching mine. I knew I was blushing but in the dark room I hoped he couldn't see.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied,  I used my best acting skills to stop myself from telling him the truth. Suddenly a loud bang projected from the scream and I jerked forwards, my lips grabbing onto Martyn's. I closed my eyes and I knew he did too. When we parted I felt a huge amount of dissapointment come over me. Martyn laughed. "What?" I asked, did he find the kiss funny?

"I thought you weren't scared?"
