Rachel POV
These past couple months have really flown by. Finn got most of his memory back which is good. He's just missing a couple of memories. So he's still staying with us, and Steve still doesn't like Finn. He hasn't told me why but I really don't care.

I have so much on my plate. I haven't told anyone, but Santana, but I'm auditioning for Chicago. I'm thinking of going for the role of roxy, but I'm not sure. I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

I think Finn suspects my audition. I don't know how but I think he knows. He's been acting really sweet when it comes to musical things. I don't mind because he's always helped me, but I still don't know how I feel about Finn, and his feelings for me.

That night of Beth's family tree project, she asked him if he still loves me. I was going to run, but then I heard him speak and I had to listen,

Flashback

"Don't you still love mommy?" Beth asked Finn,

"I'll always love your mommy, but for know we're on a break, but don't worry Beth I'll try to prove myself so we can all be together" Finn hugged Beth

My heart melted in that moment, and I griped my wedding ring necklace from high school, tight.

"Thank you daddy,"

End of flashback

So that happened. But I can't focus on that. Instead I should work on grading these
papers. Oh crap,it's almost lunch. All the kids are working,

"Ok guys,start cleaning up,it's almost time for lunch" I inform the students

They all get up screaming excited. I always smile at their enthusiasm.

Ring ring

I see my phone, and my teacher assistant walks into the room with papers. I grab my phone and tell her to make sure the kids are lined up.

"Hello, Rachel speaking," I answer
"Hello, ms.hudson," I was about to correct them but then they said "we need you and your husband to come down to Beth's school, she is in the principles office"

Oh no,

"I'll be there in," I check the time "in fifteen minutes" I answer

Then I hang up, I tell Emily, my teacher assistant, "family emergency, watch the kids for me, please" and I grab my bag and keys and call Finn,

Ring, ring, ring,

"Hello," he answers
"Hey, I'm coming to the gym to pick you up, Beth's in the principles office" I tell him
"Oh no, I'll be ready in the front" he answers
"Ok bye" I hang up

I drive all the way to the gym and I see Finn ready with his duffel bag on his shoulder. Damnit, he's wearing that shirt, that shows off his muscles. Ugh, he probably did that on purpose. Whatever.

"Did they tell you why she was in there?" Finn asked as he got into the car,
"Nope" I answer

They arrive at school

I walk in to find Beth with her head hung low and the principal with a disapproving face.

"Please take a seat" she says

Finn and I sit down next to Beth, Beth dares glance up, and I give her my disapproving look, and Finn is shaking his head.

"Beth would you like to tell your parents why you're here" the principal asks
"Not really," Beth mumbles

The principal looks at us, and we give her our full attention,

"She started a fight with Brianna Santos, she nearly broke the girls arm" the principal said with a straight face

I widen my eyes and look at Finn, we both look at Beth whose slouching,

"Oh my god, I am so sorry, is the girl ok?" I say as Finn whispers to Beth, "Beth Marie Hudson, why would you do that!?"

"She's fine, but she had to go home, unfortunately so does Beth, she is suspended for two weeks, and this is going on her permanent record" the principle

"We understand," I say
"you are free to go now," the principle said
"Thank you, and please give our condolences to, Brianna" I say getting up as Finn grabbed Beth's backpack

Beth walked out ahead of us, not saying a word, but boy do we have some words for her.

"What were you thinking!??" I yelled as she got in the car
"I wasn't," she mumbled
"You are so grounded young lady" Finn chimed in
"Beth, just please tell us, why would you get in a fight?" I ask as we drive home

Beth was quiet with her arms crossed.

"Beth, answer us" Finn said
"Because she kept making fun of me! Also did principal Harley tell you how Brianna ripped my family tree poster? No she didn't because everyone always favors that brat!"
Beth yells in tears

I sigh and look at Finn who had the same expression as me, so I parked on the side.

"Sweetie, fighting is never the answer," I respond calmer
"Yeah, no matter how mean the person is," Finn adds
"But, I worked so hard on that poster, and it was like all that work was for nothing" Beth cried

It breaks my heart to see her cry. I heard Finn unbuckle his seat belt and he picked up Beth and moved her to the front with us, Beth was crying in his arms.

"I'm sorry mommy and daddy," beth cried

I smoothed her hair over,

"It's ok, baby, just don't do that again, ok" I tell her
"I promise I won't beat up people anymore" Beth said wiping her tears
"But you're still grounded" Finn says
"Oh yeah you are" I say as well
"But did you really beat up the Brianna Santos?"Finn asked
"Yup dad, she was asking for it," Beth said

I just smiled at the talking about her beating up another kid. Most moms wouldn't really let them keep talking about that, but I'm not most moms.

"Did she cry?" I ask
"Yup, but when she did, I felt sort of bad" Beth said
"So did you stop?" Finn asked
"Nope, I pulled harder" Beth said proud

Finn and I both raised our eyebrows at each other and scoffed, but in reality we were trying not to laugh because our daughter is a badass.
