RECAP OF PREVIOUS CHAPTER
(AT THE WEDDING)
From the corner of my eye, Omar looked from me to her, and a mischievous smile overtook his face. Anum looked back, and he smiled politely. Watching them stare was one of the weirdest, yet most amazing things ever.
And then another thought popped into my mind. Only, it was horrendous as a thought could get.
They look like they belong...
With...each other.
I snapped me gaze at Danyal with a frown. Placing a hand on his arm, I shook it slightly, and he looked from Dadi to me in laughter.
My frown turned his face conscious. The table continued to ramble as Danyal leaned in, the smell of dew and mint shampoo surrounding me.
"What's wrong?"
"I had this thought," I tell him.
"Yeah?"
I paused for a second, a little confused. The earnest in his eyes was so intense, I thought it could be fake. But...of course it wasn't. His frame was a foot away from mine, and I felt myself getting a little afraid of the heat crawling up my neck at the sight of him. The way his slight dimple curved even when he was worried, and the deep, deep brown of the eyes I'd never been close to.

CHAPTER 32: IM MESSING UP.
We were in line for my favorite part of the wedding.
Food.
But, on another note, my un-favorite part was Anum standing in front of me, looking at Omar.
And then...it got even worse. Or wait, better, for the PLAN, not for real LIFE.
As we ended the line and my plate was full to the brim, we stopped at the bar. Filled with only sodas and water, may I add.
I ordered myself a coke, Danyal went with a sprite. Jehan decided not to eat food, and Hikaya was staring at her plate like is was gold, totally forgetting about the drinks. Sarah, like Jehan, had no food. When Hikaya looked at her like she was mad and asked why, Sarah had replied with a: "I don't have cheat days, Hikaya, and everything there is made in oil."
I had nudged Danyal and we both snickered. But I hadn't nudged him with my elbow, but my empty fork. No more touching, I told myself. After we were done laughing and moving up in line, he stared down at my fork.
"You poked me with that THING?"
Anyways, back to the here and now. Sarah and Hikaya were both back at the table now. Omar ordered himself a coke, and then there was Anum.
Oh so caring Anum. She ordered nothing for herself, but instead became the selfless person that ran in her blood and ordered two waters for the elders and a sprite for Sarah's mom.
I felt kind of sad at the way I wasn't staring at the most beautiful couple here tonight, but was glaring at the every move of the couple I didn't want to happen.
Omar glanced at Anum with a look on his face that was pure amaze, but she wasn't glancing back at him. If I was a narrator (which I kind of am, but lets pretend I'm not), I'd tell you that there was a spark in his eyes. Omar had lived up in all greed. His parents, they weren't the best. His mother and father married again after their horrible divorce when he was about thirteen, and in that age, he was struck pretty hard. Now he lived with his Uncle, who was known as the family-friend devil. We gave Omar a chance, but now, after this, even though no one said it, no one trusted Omar anymore. After the accusations, Dadi, Dada and Sarah's mom pretend like their fine, because my family is a forgiving one, but in their hearts, it is obvious they dislike him for what he's 'done'. Which is ironic because he didn't do anything, and is okay with taking the blame on these kinds of horrendous things just for money. He's kind of gullible, but he knows his ways. He's grown up in a world of evil, and I don't think he's ever seen or known anyone like Anum.
