Chapter 2:The Man Emmalyn Told You About

You wander back to Aphmau's house, seeing as you have given yourself a tour around the village, as soon as you walked in you noticed her talking to a man with light brown hair and blue eyes, it was that man Emmalyn was telling you about, 

"Hi, I'm (Y/N), it's nice to meet you." You say, he stares at you blankly 

"Hey, I'm Laurance, it's nice to meet you too." The way he said that, sounded......emotionless, he seems a bit cautious about you.

Aphmau lets you stay in the guest room downstairs, she also gives you a change of clothes.

As night arise's, you lay on the bed straining your mind, to figure out why in the name of Irene you were running for your life, you eventually give up and fall asleep.

~Dream~

Fire was burning everything! You glance around feeling frightened and see a nether portal, there are hundreds of Shadow Knights and Shadow Souls pouring out of the portal,

"(Y/N)!!!!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? I TOLD YOU TO RUN!!!!!!!" A man yells while attempting to slay a few Shadow Knights, 

"DAD!! I CAN'T JUST LEAVE YOU HERE!!!!! YOU'LL DIE!!!" You nearly scream back, you feel tears flowing down your face as you see the village burn to a crisp, 

"I SAID RUN!!!!!" He yells, you start running away regretting everything. You peek over your shoulder to see the man lying on the ground in a pool of blood with a sword lodged in his stomach.

~You Wake Up~

You rush up and gasp, you notice a worried looking Aphmau standing over your bed, 

"(Y/N)! I was worried sick!! Are you okay?!" Aphmau asks sounding extremely panicked, 

"I'm fine......" You lied, 

"Okay, I'll leave you be" with that, she walks out of the room and you drift back to sleep.
