Starfire's POV

"Today will be a perfect day!" I told myself after I woke up. While getting dressed, I thought about my friends. My mind drifted to someone in particular. Someone who's very special, not that I was saying all of my friends weren't special. And of course that person is no other than---- Robin.

Robin is my bestfriend, even though I want us to become more. I don't actually like him----- 'cause I definitely love him.

Robin's POV

After waking up I decided to check the criminal rates. There's nothing wrong so far. Just then, I heard my communicator ring. When I answered the call, I was shocked to hear Batman, my adoptive father.

"Hello son..." he started. " I just wanted to tell you that you're going to stay in Gotham for a few days." he continued. I didn't answer. But after a few seconds I said "Okay." It's not like I have a choice. He is my father after all.

After he called, I went to the common room. "Hello Robin!" Starfire greeted me enthusiastically. "Hi Star," I greeted her back. She smiled at me. Her smile is one of the many things I like - correction - I love about her. When she smiles, all the things I worry about, all my problems, fade. It's like the world around me stops rotating. Sheesh---- I'm becoming corny. -_-

After eating breakfast I told them, the Titans, that I'm going to Gotham. "Are you serious? Why?" Cyborg and Beastboy asked at the same time while Raven only rolled her eyes. "Batman said he needed me, and yes, I am serious." I replied.

"But we also need you here Robin, I need you here..." Starfire said making the last sentence appear as a whisper. "Don't worry Star, it's only for a few days. I'll come back, I promise."
