Castiel went to school while I stayed in town to meet with the council discussing extra measures to protect the children at school with General Risen and Lord Whele.
"What is Michael being so cryptic about?" Lord Whele said.
"Vega's protection of the education system." I said.
"Is this because of your son? Did he get a bloody nose from the kids." Lord Whele teased.
"This is not a joking matter General Risen and Lord Whele." I said, "Who's protecting our children if the eightballs decide to attack us again, not the archangel core they're busy protecting the city. Not the army because they keep eightballs from getting over our walls."
"Shouldn't you be able to be in more than one place at all times Michael?" Gen. Risen said innocently.
"Unfortunately not with my current attachment and commitment to my young son Castiel." I said crossing my arms as house of Whele got uncomfortable.
"I understand." Gen. Risen sympathized.
"Thank you General." I say.
"We'll have to readjourn to discuss the budget for this." Gen. Risen said.
