Weird...

*Ami's POV*

I begin to open my eyes slowly. I can see Toshiro beside me. With Rangiku and Hisagi.

"Hey guys...."
I said softly.

All of them smiled.

"You're awake! Let me tell the others!"
With that, Rangiku ran out of the room.

I chuckled as I sat up.

"Are you okay to sit up? Why don't you keep laying down?"
Hisagi said, pushed me down to the bed.

I pouted, wanting to sit.
"I'm fineeee! Let me sit."

We chatted a little before the others came in behind Unohana, following her.

"Hey Ami, how are you feeling?"
She asked me.

"I've been better. But this isn't so bad."
I smiled at her.

"Good. Now... can all of you leave the room? I have to do some check ups."
She gave them that sickly sweet smile.

I can tell they're scared and left the room.

After some check ups, we chatted. She told me what happened at the battle. Then she left to continue with her duties.

I did blacked out but... What actually happened?
I can lose control like that..?

My thoughts are stopped once my stomach growled.

I stood up, wanting some food. I reached the kitchen at nearby squad 6. I sneaked into their kitchen and stole some food. I ate them back at my hospital room.

"You can't stole my squad's food, y'know?"
Renji came trough the window.

"Hehehehe...."
Is all I managed to say.

He grabbed an onigiri and ate it.

"Heyyy......"
I said to him.

"What?"
He said, putting an innocent face.

I pouted and said,
"Forget it."

I went home to the human world the next day. Ichigo greeted me and asked me how am I feeling. He's been suspiciously nice to me.

Like, today's dinner. I said to Karin that I'll skip it.

But five minutes after Karin went to eat, Ichigo came into my room, he brought food (dinner) for me to eat. And said things like,
"You have to eat."
"Be healthy."
"Eat a lot."
"If you need help, just call me."
Then left me speechless at what he just said.

Ichigo's being weird again... he's making me special breakfast. Toast with blueberry jam and apple juice.

He even decorated my bento with weird shaped flowers that shaped like an electric saw. I knew it was his doing cos' I've been told by Yuzu that he's messing with my bento this morning before I was awake.

I sighed,

what does he wants?

I really wanted to ask that question directly to him but I couldn't. What if he had no other intentions. He's trying to be nice or something.

It's school already. Me, Ichigo and the others still had bandages around our bodies. Keigo is just being so annoying as usual, keep asking about it to us. Of course we made up lies to cover them.

Inoue came up with the most ridiculous story, she told them that she fell when she was eating while walking downstairs. While Ichigo, Chad, and Ishida told then that they got into a fight. I told them that I got hit by a car.

Ichigo is still being weird today. He insisted that he'll bring my bag, offer me some of his bento, even bought me drinks. Okay.... this is getting annoying.

"What is it Ichigo?"
I sighed.

He looked confused. Oh shit.

"What is what?"
He asked me.

"Well.... you've been strangely nice to me lately, why?"
I felt a little nervous hearing his answer.

"...... I don't know......"
He stared at me, emotionless.

Then he walked faster, leaving me behind.

"Hey! Don't leave me!"
I ran up to him.

I can see a faint blush on his face as he said,
"Shut up."

*still Ami's POV*

Ichigo hasn't talked to me yet. It's already dinner.

I shouldn't have asked him earlier.....

I thought as I kept sighing, ignoring the food.

I can see Yuzu giving me confused and worried look. Probably cos' I'm ignoring the food. She asked me am I okay and I nodded. Ate quickly and went to my room.

I looked at Kim as she's playing with my phone. I took a peek and saw that she's opening a super handsome boy's instagram. Seem about my age. I teased her about how she's no different than Kon. Now she's blushing and denying everything that I said. I laughed at her reaction. She's so cute... like a little sister.

[Sudden flashback]

"Mom! Is it true? I'll have a little sister?"
The four year old me standing beside my mom's rocking chair.

"Yes darling, but I'm not so sure about the gender."
She told me, hand on her stomach, smiling so sweetly.

"Then.... a little brother?"
I asked excitedly.

"Maybe."
The smile on her face never faded.

"Ami! Run!"
My father screamed at me with a bloodied forehead.

"W..what? No... I can't leave you alone..."
I said, crying.

"Take your mother away! Be safe!"
He stands still with a zanpakuto in his hands.

"Ami! Watch out!!!"
My mother throw her body to the cero that's about to hit me.

"M..mom? Mom? Answer me..."
I'm shaking in fear as the squad 4 team healing her injuries.

"Sorry, we can't save your daughter."
The officer from earlier said to my father.

With me, holding his hand, trembling. My father hugged me as he cried sadly. Weirdly.... I can't even shed a tear. I.... can't feel any emotion except deep feeling of sadness and regret.

I shuddered at the memories. Now I remembered.

I killed my own little sister.

I'm awake from the flashback as I felt a hollow in this town. I switched bodies with Kim and immediately head out to the location.

Just went trough transformation....

I slayed it easily and head back after a little walk.
