the poem & explaination

the poem:

how was i meant to stay away?

piercing blue; you could swim in those eyes.

catch me when i fall,

i can't afford to shatter all over again

i'm already broken inside.

ever since my name lips left your slightly parted lips

they became a cursed memory of that fateful morning.

you're the only spirit left in my eyes;

the only smiles i don't have to force;

why would i need drugs if i'm high on you?

you're clueless & i'm in love.

a boy like me has no chance with a boy like you.

you're deceived & i want you back

anything hurts more than this.

i wish we were a cliché,

but we never stood a chance.

explanation:

i wrote this open to interpretation. i do believe that it has a certain meaning, but it's up to you to decide the ending. what do you think happened? i'm really interested to know!

if you want a happy ending and believe it, make up a sequel in your head. maybe i will if it is requested enough
