It had been about three days since I last left the hospital. Jenny was taking care of me, since my parents wouldn't be back until next week. She'd taken me shopping, out to eat, to the movies, you name it. I appreciated her attempt at trying to make up for the past four years of her being an ass, but I won't deny I kinda just wanted to visit Jalex and cuddle with her or something.

"I'm going out!" I called out to her.

"Got your keys and phone?" Jennifer asked from the kitchen, where she was attempting to make her third batch of cookies with her best friend and okay friend of mine, Mina, because they kept burning the first two batches.

"Yeah, yeah. Call me if you need me. Oh and I'll use your car." I said.

Silence.

"Okay. Just don't have sex inside. And don't crash it." Jennifer yelled back. I giggled before replying back with a sarcastic "Okay."

I drove around for a bit before finding the house address I was looking for. It was a decent house, enough for one or two people to live in.

I took a deep breath and finally got the guts to hop off my sister's car and knock on the white wooden door.

I waited about 13 seconds before I raised my arm to knock again, when a gorgeous girl with blue hair and sweats and tanktop opened up.

"Oh shit. Hi Jaylee." Jalex blushed. I smirked at my girlfriend's rosy cheeks.

"Came at a bad timing?" I asked, casually leaning against the door frame.

'What- I- Uh- N-no, come in, come in." Jalex stuttered. Damn, what was this about?

"Aunty, my girlfriend's here!" Jalex yelled. I blushed lightly. I'm assuming her aunt wasn't homophobic.

"Alright, sweety. Have fun." Was all I heard her aunt say. Jalex motioned me to follow, which I did, obviously. We reached what I assumed was her room, and I walked inside, followed by Jalex who closed the door behind her.

"Oh my Frerard, I've missed you." Jalex smiled, as her arms wrapped around my waist. I smiled to myself, and wrapped mine around her arms.

"So," I began. "Why where you blushing like a maniac?"

"Ah, well, it's been a long time. And you didn't call or anything, fuck you didn't even give me time to change." Jalex smiled, rolling her eyes.

"Well excuse me." I hoffed back.

"Whatever floats your boat." Jalex replied. I cocked an eyebrow at her reply, causing her to stick her tongue out at me. Some couple we are.

"So," I began, "how's things been since you left Hallhill?"

Jalex shrugged. "Could've been better if you came by and whatnot two days ago."

"I'm sorry, love." I apologized. "Been busy, that's all. Jenny here has been trying to make up for everything and whatnot."

"Ah. Must be nice to have an older sister. Well, one whom isn't a bitch." Jalex giggled.

"Suppose so." I said, letting myself lay on her bed. Jalex quickly followed my movement, and laid besides me.

We stayed that way and chatted for a bit. A kiss here and there, until suddenly my phone decided to become a vibrator.

I sighed heavily, picking up the phone and answered it.

"Hullo?"

"Hey Jules. It's Jenny. Mom and dad came early so they'll be here in a few. I suggest you hurry your ass back. Like, now."

"Ugh, fine." I pouted and ended the call.

"Who was it?" Jalex asked curiously.

"My sister. Said my parents will be home in a few so it'd be best I go home and greet them." I quickly explained.

"Ah. Well, visit soon. I'll get my data running maybe tomorrow so I'll message you then." Jalex said as we walked to the door.

"Alright love. Laters." I said, quickly pecking her neck and waving goodbye.

"Juliet!" My mother cried and engulfed me into a hug.

"About time. I've been waiting for an hour, and Jenny here won't let me eat." I said, scowling a little.

Instead of a slap in the face, my mother rolled her eyes and gently smacked my arm.

"Welcome back, darling." My mother smiled. I smiled back and looked about before noticing my father's absence.

"Where's dad?" I asked.

"Oh he's bringing the stuff in. He'll be inside any minute now." My mother said, waving her hand as if to push the thought aside.

"Anywho," my mother continued, "how have these last few days out of that prison been?"

I blinked before realizing she ment the hospital. Immediately I made a face of disgust.

"Horrible. Simply horrible. Well, actually," I paused, "okay. I met a girl. Her name's Jalex Coma. She's super cute, and funny, and awesome, and sweet, and sarcastic, and yeah." I blabbed on.

I got a weird look from my mother. "Do you 'like' this Jalex girl? Because, may I point out, you're speaking of her the way Jenny spoke of her first crush."

Jenny blushed and rolled her eyes, mumbling a "whatever".

"Ah- well- I mean- uh-"

"Speak no more. I heard about you and Mlayka. Personally, I find it shocking, yet I should've seen the signs since you were about seven." My mother said, mostly to herself rather than me.

"So, um...' I said awkwardly.

"So, what? You never answered my question." My mother said, a grin pulling at her lips.

"We're actually, um, a thing...." I blushed.

"Oh, I'm meeting this girl I hope." My father said.

I quickly turned around. Had he heard the whole conversation?

"I- I don't know. I-"

"Well we better." My mother butted in.

I smiled. "Sure why not."

I heard Jenny cough and we all turned to her. Jenny simply smiled and held up a wooden spoon.

"Spaghetti anyone?"
