Chapter 15: Minecraft parkour

When you woke, you and Mark weren't alone. Nor were you two next to each other. Everyone was here. All 5 of you. You sat up confusedly, you noticed when you sat up your clothes were softer and looser than normal, youre wearing Gray, white, and black. (Picture above). It was really comfortable to you, you realized that everyone else was awake. You got up quickly, looking around for something. You're not sure what though.

Yours and Marks eyes meet, you walk over to him, in comfortable, runable boots. "I was wondering where you were." He said, adjusting his headset. He wore a black shirt with a red pixalted M' on it, jeans and sneckers. "Me too...wait. Who is that?" You say poining at the guy in almost all black, long curly hair pulled back in a low ponytail, then you pointed at the guy in all gray and what seemed like a horn on their head.

The long haired man turn around, looking at you. His coal black sunglasses glinted by the sun. Nearly showing his eye color. He smiled and walked over to you, you glazed a confused smile at him. "Hey, (Y/N)!" He said, "that voice... who is that?" You thought. He raised his sunglasses, showing his bright hazel eyes. Once you saw that it clicked. "Sky! I didn't recognize you." You say honestly. You looked at Mark who's still confused about the man in the gray suit. Sky glanced over to Mark, who's eyes are locked on the narwal. "Thats Ross. Remember (y/n)? " Adam says to both of you. Mark nods and looks at you, "oh! Ross!" You say, "hia" he response. "You two know each other?" Mark asks, like he's upset, but not at the same time. "Yeah! Adam, I think I should bring this up with Jack..." you say motioning Jack to come, he srides over, adjusting his hat. "Yea?" He says, "this is Adam, he saved me when you saved me from the huge pacman. Remember?" You say, he nods. "Whats with your outfit?" Mark asks Adam, "well, like you. This is my Minecraft skin. This is what I wear in the game." He answers, pushing his silky smooth hair back. He turned a little as the course became to a dungeon like place. With what seemed like parkour. Something on his chest shmired in the light, it caught your eye. "Whats that?" You ask as you point at the object on him. He looks down and grabs it, "this? This is my amulet." He says proudly. The purple crystal stood out from the yellow outter layer. His amour seemed badass on him, "I wonder what that would look like on Mark..." you thought,

Your thoughts of Mark in the amour was interuppeded by the announcer, "welcome to your segment Sky, remember back in the day when you were parkour king? Me too. Have fun..." he said sinasterly. The buzzer went off, y'all stood still, waiting for Adam to go. Adam finally went, jumping to the first jump, he regained balance as he jumped to the vines and slid down them.

you followed him by doing the same, you leaped to the piece nearly over jumping it. You jumped and extended to grab the vines and slid down. As you went down a level, you felt a blast of heat, it was hot as you dropped down to where Adam was.

you could see it, lava. The lava burnt the air, forming ashes all over the place. Adam dropped down his sunglasses and contuied. He leaped from platform to platform. Making it to the other side. He made it seem so easy to you. Ross passed you up as you were thinking on how to jump, Ross made it seem easy too.

*time skip from a few hours*

You kept following Adams and Ross' foot steps, things were more complex now. The jumps were tricky, you followed Adams every step, every spin, every single moment he did.

He was a pro, well on the computer... but that's besides the point to you. He seemed to know what he's doing, he hasn't freaked out yet. You gradually make your way closer to the burning lava. Your nevers became more agataded as you got closer, you began to fear for your life. The jumps were longer, you began to worry.

You were 5 jumps away from victory, you began to calm down. You were sweating profusely because if the lava. You saw Adam stop, you stopped instantly. There was just lava, no parkour, no jumps nothing. Just lava, down the endless path were vines. You looked at Adam, who's hand was in a button. He pushed it ever so slowly. Jumps appeared out of the lava, he relased the button. After 30 seconds, the pieces disappeared one by one. You look at Adam, he looks at you.

Ross comes up behind you two, and says "I'll hold the button." "Ross, no." Adam says, "I'll be fine." He says. Adam sighs and moves out the way of the button. Ross pushes and holds the button. Mark and Jack pulled up behind you.

The parkour reappears, staying in place. Adam jumped to the first ledge, looking back sadly. Ross waved him off, telling him to continue. He continued, you could feel that he was uneasy about Ross staying back, holding the button for everyone.

You followed his footsteps, Mark followed yours and Jack followed Marks. You and the guys made it to the other side, As you climb the vines, you look back to Ross. You see him preping himself for this, you could see the doubt in his face.

He took some quick deep breaths, you stopped climbing. You were anxious, anxious to see him come across those platforms.

He released, sprinting across the platforms, he was 5 platforms in when the platforms began to disappear behind him, he tried to speed up, you could tell he was loseing his footing. Nearly slipping at some platforms... that cost Ross his life... he wasn't fast enough... the platform disappeared from his feet when he landed. Making him fall, screams escaped him... he cried for help, he was being swallowed by the lava. Lava crawling all over him, catching him on fire. Melting his skin away, melting till you saw the bones... just like that, he was dead...

Tears escaped your eyes, pouring down your face. Screams from above added on to your tears... Mark pulled you up, when you got to the top, you saw Adam on his knees, sobbing... you looked over to him, tearing up more. Mark loosened his grip, letting you run over to Adam to comfort him. Sliding on your knees to him. wrapping your arms around him, he acctpeted by latching on to you, crying on your shoulder... the image replayed and replayed in your head. "He was so close..." you thought. "He was right there, so close... just not fast enough."

You helped Adam up to his feet, walking with him to the finish. Mark by your side, tears every now and then came down Adams face.

Finishing never seemed so sadding. You ended up at the cornucopia with everyone by your side. The day was done... 4 people left, You, Jack, Mark, and Adam.

*time skip to cannons* (I know, haven't done this in a while...)

You were comforting Adam when the cannons went off, you haven't heard it in forever... you weren't excited anymore. 3 cannon shots fired, everyone looked up in the midnight sky. Holograms flashed on the dome, first...

Pewdiepie... flashbacks hit you, seeing it all over again... the explosion, all the blood everywhere... "it's okay..." Adam says to you, then...

Matthias... flashbacks hit hard. Tearing your eyes up, seeing it all again was horrible... you couldn't get your mind off of it, it was there. Nearly making you scream. The next one tore you apart,

Ross... you lost it, so did Adam. Crying hard, seeing it again... the burning. Atleast Adam didn't have to watch it in person. He didn't have to sit there and watch it all go down. You curl up in a ball as you cry yourself to sleep that night.
