I decided to do the POV as changing every chapter, like Sunlight.

I pick at my sandwich, too lost in thought to eat it. I look up towards the door of the cafeteria, Hudson catching my eye. Her shorts leave little to imagine when it comes to how well they curve around her butt. I'm not saying I hate it, because I don't, but I'm also not saying I like it. She walks to the table with Jason, someone who I'm only acquainted with from having a class with him last year.

"Austin, are you even listening to me?" Tiffany huffs, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I'm sorry, what were you saying?" I turn my head to face her.

"I asked if you wanted to come over later" She asks, leaning her head on my shoulder.

"I would, but I can't" I shake my head, and she scoffs.

"And why not?"

"I'm helping the new girl Hudson get caught up in Math"

"No, no" She shakes her head, a scowl on her face "Absolutely not"

"What?"

"I'm not letting you help her, she can do it herself" She rolls her eyes.

"Come on, she needs help" I place my hand on her thigh, and she mumbles something under her breath "What was that?"

"She's probably just doing it to get into your pants"

"Tiff this wasn't either of our ideas, Mr. Watkins told me to. And either way, you're my one and only" I lean down to place a soft peck to her lips "I love you"

"I don't trust her" She shakes her head, and just as I'm about to tell her she's being ridiculous, the bell rings "This conversation isn't over" She points, walking away.

I sigh running my hand through my hair in frustration "You shouldn't frown, it gives you wrinkles" A voice from behind me chuckles. I plaster a fake wide smile on my face and she laughs "And you shouldn't smile like that it scares the children"

"There's no winning with my face" I fake pout.

"I'm right there with you" She chuckles "So are we still on for later?" She asks, her fingers playing with her lip ring.

"Uh yeah" I nod "Your house, or mine?"

"It doesn't matter to me" She shakes her head.

"So mine?"

"Sure" She nods, and we walk into class together, both of us taking our seat. Hudson lays her head on her desk scrolling through her phone as Mr. Watkins teaches, obviously not caring. Zach comes in 20 minutes late and plops down in front of me.

"Where were you?" I ask him.

"I decided to go on an adventure" He shrugs and Hudson snorts "What?" Zach asks her.

"Nothing, just the way you said it was funny" She shrugs, turning her attention back onto her phone.

"Can't you just ditch her?" Tiffany stomps her foot against the tile floor, letting out a huff.

"No, I can't" I shake my head "She needs my help, so I'm going to give it to her"

"God! Why do you say it like that?" She exasperates.

"Say what like that?"

"So I'm going to give it to her" She mocks me "You sound like you're going to sleep with her"
