Chappy 14

Emily's pov-

"How is this even possible? This is unheard of!"

"How should I know as you know this has never happened so I don't know how, how do you think I know?!"

I was in the middle of a fight between me, myself and I and if someone said this would happen to me when I was in the dungeons I would just scoff at them

But this is real life wake the fuck up Emily

In the middle of the dispute my head was getting fuzzy and I was falling asleep

"Shit she's waking up, listen to me, we will figure this out okay"

They spoke at the same time for the last part and that was kind of weird but I couldn't think about it because my vision was getting darker as i left conciseness

Brendon's pov-

I had been leaning on a tree waiting for my little mate to do something when all the power that surrounded her disappears an her body limply falls to the ground and her dress seems like a blanket as it covers most of the ground around her, her long hair waved around her body loosely

Once she fell I move quickly to her shaking body and hold her up carefully, making sure not to harm her

"Emily are you okay?" She opens her eyes, but once she sees me fear is the only thing I see in her eyes as she backs away from me and walks on all fours backwards away from me

"E-Emily what's wrong? Why are you so afraid?" I slowly made my way towards her but she just backed away shaking her head

"N-no! I don't want to hurt you! You must hate me already though now that you know what I am"

I instantly rushed over to her with incredible speed and hugged her body close to me with her arms and legs dangling by her sides as I breathed in her scent that just gets sweeter every time I smell it

For a minute all she does is lay there, just like a rag doll, still. But then I feel her body shaking and sobs coming out her throat violently as her arms and legs weakly wrap around me. I whispered sweet nothings into her ear and pet her head untangling the knots in her hair as I ran my hand through it.

"Shhh sweetie I'm here, I will always be here Emily nothing will make me hate you in fact, I'm proud of you, you made it through this , I am so proud of my mate"

She just cried harder but I could smell the pride rolling off of her in waves

She pulled back only a little so we were face to face and she had the sweetest smile on her face with hot tears streaming down her face, she giggled as I kissed them away and hiccuped cutely

"I'm sorry to interrupt this sweet moment, but we must discuss some things" I heard the soft voice of the moon goddess and saw Emily look over at her and gasp putting her hand to her mouth and sighing in wonder

The moon goddess just chuckled and smiled sweetly at her "hello my child I'm the moon goddess and you are a very special child may I add" she walked over to us and reached her hand out "may I see her?" Emily looked at me for permission and I nodded my head, she let her legs go to the ground but she was weak right now so she stumbled a little as her nimble legs walked towards her

"Now, please take my hand"

She reached over and slowly put her hand in hers

White and grey smoke encircles them and once it clears away
