chapter 20~ cheer state

On the plane to state sitting with my family while the kids were sleeping i was watching a video we filmed of us doing our routine, we had it perfect until a video was leaked of our biggest competition and they had the same routine so we had to change it. How did they get our routine? GABBY!!!!!!

It's really bad that just because we kicked her off the team she went and showed our biggest competition our routine so I'm glad we got rid of her before nationals if we make it, if we get in the top 3 we make it and theres only really one competition so we will either make 1st or 2nd.

The kids started to wake, Ben started crying. Oh the joys. The plane had started going down so our ears were starting to pop and poor Ben couldn't pop his ears. We tried everything and then I remembered a method my mum used on me when I was little, I gave him a small bit of his bottle and it seemed to work. Yes, I thought to myself he stopped crying.

With the kids getting off the plane Matt followed my steps Amelia took a sudden tumble down the stairs, Matt rushed to her side and picked her up, it hurts him to see his baby girl cry. I watch as he holds her close and tightly telling her it's going to be okay. He always finds ways to show me who I fell in love with, I fell in love with that caring guy who always helped others.

We arrive at our hotel, and because we're here for state they pay for it so it's a nice 5 star hotel. State starts in 3 days and we have time to ourselves so we can do whatever we want, Matt and I out the kids to bed for a nap after getting up at 3am to get on the flight that was paid for us. I'm a little nervous for this competition cause we haven't competed against all of the teams before. I just hope we make it through to nationals and then internationals. State is a pretty big deal, we worked so hard for this and we are going to win it.

So three days hVe gone and we've just finished competing for day 1 of 3 and we made 2nd place, just our luck the team that used our routine came 5 so they have to really bring it tomorrow to keep their place in the competition. I'm not worried cause we have a new routine for each day even if we don't make it p, better be safe then sorry.

Day 2 of 3 we made 1st place but our real enemies got 3rd it's not looking good for us we went up but so did they, at the end of the day we just need to make the top 3 by tomorrow.

Day 3 I woke up had a nice relaxing shower ate breakfast before waking up my family, we have a few hours before the top 5 turns into the top 3, we are currently sitting in 1st place. The competition started went for awhile and the judges took about an hour to decide the top three. We all held hands and they called our name followed by FIRST PLACE! We all screamed jumping up and down and look to our enemies who sadly took home 4th. Now that we're in nationals we really have to work hard.

We got what we earned and we worked so hard for the place and we got it, who says we can't do it again.

Sorry I have not updated in awhile but I've had lots on my plate. I'm not going to say that I will updated soon or regularly because I probably won't. It took awhile to write this chapter, I'm running out of ideas on chapters and I feel like my writing has gone bad. So please help me out to keep the book going otherwise I'll just say it's completed when this book has so much potential.
