They Found Me

After the long flight to the U.S., we managed to find a hotel and get some sleep. All night I couldn't help but think that I was finally going home. I'm going home to see my family. Oh, I miss them so much. I can't wait to see their faces. But what's going to happen when I get home? I'm pretty sure a lot of people will want to talk about me and my "great escape". You know, I will never be normal again. People will know me as "the girl who was kidnapped". Or "the girl with a tragic story". This will be my new life. No more gossip about who slept with who, or what happened Evan's parties. No more hanging out with all my friends. I didn't get to graduate or go to prom. I'm not even sure if I will get to go to college. I will just have to go to stupid interviews to talk about what happened to me. I thought about how much I've been through. It's not as tragic as some people's. I mean someone was there to help me most of the time. Even though Lance was so confusing, he taught to not take things for granted. I wonder what's going to happen to him when I'm finally free. Should I tell on him? Should I say that he found me and helped me escape? I feel like I've been through this before. Questioning myself about him. I have a feeling that I'm just going to be put right back into the arms off-the-wall monsters. I can't let that happen again. No, I don't trust Lance. But once we land in California, I'm going to run away into the arms of the police.

I hope Austin told someone that I was alive and in Australia. He had to, right? I'm his best friend. Well was before all of this. What if Leah and Austin forgot about me? What if everyone did? No they couldn't have.

For now,  just going to enjoy this cold season in New York. Today we are supposed to get a flight to Los Angeles, California. I'm hoping it's real soon though.

Well we decided that it was time to go so I went into the bathroom and did the following: showered, blower dried my hair, brushed and straightened my hair, brushed my teeth, pit deodorant on, put full out make-up on, put my undergarments on, pit my white ripped skinny jeans on, put my black All Time Low tank-top on (not the spaghetti strap ones), and my socks and all black vans. I sprayed perfume on and put my black snap back on my head, but I put it on backwards.

I walked out to Lance putting his shoes on, being hat he decided to wake up early to take a shower and all that. He wore all black vans, his usual black skinny jeans, and a plain white t-shirt. He also had his hair in a quiff.

We grabbed our bags and headed out. He didn't want to talk to me anymore and I didn't know why. It's an awkward silence between us all the time now. Nobody talks at all. No one talked in the taxi, at the airport, during the flight, or in the L.A. airport. Even now. I try to talk to him but he just ignores me.

We are now in a hotel in California and it's a 11:30 at night. He is sitting on the bed on his phone and I'm sitting on the other bed bored. I decided that I needed some fresh air and to just walk around a bit. So I got up and put my phone in my back pocket and put my all black vans back on my feet.

(L=Lance, H=Haley)

L- "Where are you going?"

H- "Out. I need some fresh air."

L- "Don't."

H- "Why?"

L- "Because....uhh... I can't lie to you. They ate looking for you."

H- "Who?"

L- "Candy and Tiger."

H- "They are in California?"

L- "Yeah. They've been following us."

H- "What? How to you know this?"

L- "They tracked your phone down."

H- "What?!"

L- "Candy warned me that Tiger is coming to kill us."

H- "Well we have to go!"

L- "No!"

I go to reach for the door handle, but it was already being pushed opened. Right in front of me was standing Candy, Tiger, and two other big, bulky guys in orange prison jump suits. I turned my head to look at Lance but he was standing right there looking at me.

"It's too late." He said.

Before I could react to anything, I turned back around to find Tiger swinging at me and I fell to the floor. Everything was blurry but I could tell I was being carried to a white van. I was thrown in the back and that's when darkness took over me.
