-Kain's POV-
We headed back to class in silent. The whole time my thoughts were focus on one thing. Alexis. All I could think about was whether she was okay or not. Was she alone off crying somewhere. I should have gone after her despite what Kaname-sama had said. Then a new thought came to mind. Why would she do something like that for me? We barely know each other, but in some way she looked very familiar to me I just can't remember where I've seen her before. I was knocked out of my thoughts by Hanabusa trying to get my attention.
"Hey Kain what do you think about it?" Hanabusa asked.
"What?" I said confused, "What are you talking?"
Hanabusa rolled eyes at me. "You know Kaname-sama and Lexi-chan."
This caught me by surprise,"What about them?"
"The rumors about them secretly dating. Everybody is talking about it even the Day class students."
WHAT?! No Alexis and Kaname-sama are just friends. I mean they can't be more than friends......right? Kaname-sama likes that one annoying Perfect girl so he can't be into Alexis.
"You can't really believe those rumors, they're nothing but lies." Ruka huffed as she came up beside us joining in on the conversation.
"Oh Ruka you're just jealous that the beautiful Lexi-chan is closer to Kaname-sama than you'll ever be." Hanabusa sassed, crossing his arms over his chest with a smirk playing on his face.
Ruka's became red with embarrassment and anger ready to kill Hanabusa. Just then the bell rang tell us to return to the dorms. Hearing this him take his chance to run before Ruka could get to him. She looked at me as if expecting me to do something about it. I shrugged it off and walked out of the classroom completely blowing her off as my mind wandered off, landing on Alexis and if she was okay or not.
