Andy's POV
I looked at Callie's friend. She was cute. Short, hazel eyes, dyed hair. She also started to fangirl over me. I found it hilarious, so did Callie. We all sat on the couch watching the original Batman. It was around eleven at night. I was gonna let the girls stay up as late as they wanted, knowing Callie, it wouldn't be too late. Juliet had gone to bed about an hour earlier, she had to record early the next morning.
"Hey, Andy?" I heard Jayda say. I looked over to see Callie asleep, of course, I smiled slightly then turned my attention back to Jayda.
"Yeah?"
"What's Callie's story?"
"She hasn't told you?" Jayda shook her head.
"Well, it's not my story to tell and you should ask her but, I'll say, it wasn't sunshine and rainbows." She nodded understandingly.
"Okay, I'm gonna go to bed. Night, kiddo." She smiled at me as I got up.
"Good night, Andy."
*****
I woke up to screaming. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs, running into Jayda in the hall way.
"It's Callie! I think she's having a nightmare!" I nodded and we both ran downstairs. I immediately took Callie's into my arms and shook her awake. Her eyes shot open and she jumped up. I then heard Juliet run from upstairs.
"Hey, hey, hey, Callie. You're okay." I cooed and stroked her hair. She calmed down and looked at me.
"Sorry."
"Don't apologize, it's all okay." She nodded.
"What was it about?"
"My parents. They killed you and Juliet then tortured me." She said quietly.
"Oh, Cal..." That broke my heart, she didn't deserve any of this. I looked at Juliet and Jayda, they stood behind us. Juliet looked heartbroken and Jayda looked lost.
"I found Callie on a street corner. I took her in, her parents would beat her." I sighed, she deserved to know. Jayda covered her mouth and walked over to us.
"Callie, I'm so sorry."
"It's okay." She nodded.
"How about we all sleep down here tonight, huh?" Juliet said. It actually seemed like a good idea. We all nodded and Jayda and her ran off to get pillows and blankets.
"You gonna be okay?" I asked Callie. She nodded and wiped her tears. I placed a soft kiss on her head.
"I love you." I whispered softly.
"I love you too." Juliet and Jayda came back and we created a big bed on the floor out of pillows and blankets. It was about three in the morning so all of us were exhausted. We layed down, Jayda on the end, Callie on one side of me and next to Jayda, me, then Juliet who was at the opposite end of Jayda. Both Juliet and Callie layed their heads on me. I smiled and closed my eyes, but didn't sleep. I looked over at Jayda, she was still up and looking at the ceiling.
"Are you okay?" I whispered, but still slightly scared her.
"Yeah, just thinking, I guess." She replied.
"Anything worth sharing?" I didn't want to pry but I did want to know more about her.
"My dad." I raised an eyebrow at her and she sighed.
"He left my mom and I when I was three." So, she hasn't had great life either.
"I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault but I do want to thank you. Your music got me through so much and you helped me, even when you didn't know I existed." This touched my heart. I love when fans opened up but the fact that it was from Jayda, just made it special.
"We know all of our fans exist and your welcome. If you ever need anything jusy come to me, I want to be for you too. So if there are boy problems, come to me." I joked and she giggled.
"Thanks, Andy." She smiled at me and I returned it.
"Of course. Now get some rest, you need it." She nodded and closed her eyes. I fell asleep pretty soom after Jayda and I's conversation. I layed my hands on her shoulder just as a reminder that I was there. I must really love kids to do this all. Who am I kidding? I really did.
