Hey guys!

Well, I'm trying to improve my chapters, and trying to do more showing than telling. I'm also trying to lengthen them and pretty soon I will just connect some chapters together. ^_^ I know the book isn't finished yet, and I know I should write and then edit, but I haven't read my book for awhile and now I'm trying to refresh my mind as to where this should go next.

Anyways, any help, comments, and suggestions would be appreciated. :)

Smiles! ^_^

Elaina's POV

Sitting next to my best friend, Steve, as usual, something caught my eye. A behavior Steve had that I have never seen. I couldn't help myself, but see his head move back and forth to the teacher and then to the seat Elenice sat.

She was in the front, right corner chair on the very end. Sadly, a row in front of us and 3 seats to the right. She was there on the edge of the room next to the blank white wall with a poster hung up on it saying "Keep It Up!" and a door that begged to be opened.

She had to sit there because she found out that the Sassy girls have their 'called' seats, and before class started, pretty much every seat was taken so she had to take that one.

There was nothing wrong with it except for the fact that a couple of smart jocks was behind her. Actually, let me correct that. That is a bad seat.

You see, those jocks always pick on the new kids. Hopefully that wouldn't happen-which I doubt it. She seemed pretty nice even though she kinda scolded us this morning by the locker. I guess she had a misuderstanding or maybe she was already having a bad first day of school. I don't blame her. I was about to ask her if she wanted to switch seats with me, but class already started. Although, I wouldn't really want to switch..

Anyways, another thing that got my attention is how Steve gave occasional glances and stares at Elenice. It's so annoying to watch his blonde head turn so many times. I was about to tell him that he was starting to look like a stalker. I moved my feet in an attempt to kick him. Almost...Ugghh, I can't reach him.

It was the first day of school and already I couldn't pay attention. If he keeps this up, I'm gonna get a B+ in this class..maybe all my classes. Then when my mom asks, I'm gonna have to tell her it was my best friends fault. She will never believe it.

He started making small quiet sighs. I looked at him and started to giggle causing the teacher to look at me.

"Elaina, is there something funny you want to share us?"

Steve! It is all your fault! He is so gonna get it...

"Uhh...No ma'am. I just remembered something." I smiled to give a her a more convincing answer. It was a lie sorta. I mean, I did remember the conversation Steve and I had with the new girl and how nervous he was. Gosh, I'm so gonna smack him on the noggin.

"Okay," the teacher smiled back, Phew! All those times of giving apples and getting A+'s gets so handy sometimes.

I can't believe the teachers remember me though, being just one of the other good kids at school. I mean, this school has like 15,000 students. The category of it being named private school didn't even seem to fit because of how many people know this school. It's so popular for great education and brilliant graduates.

I nudged Steve with my elbow and gave him a look to pay attention when the teacher had her back on us. He seemed a little startled when I nudged him, I guess I ruined his gazing at a dream moment. I actually wanted to laugh again, but I contained myself.  By the way he looked at her, I can soooo tell he likes her. I guess it's one of those things you can do when you're close to someone. You can tell.
