Elenice's POV

Elaina and Steve brought me to the class room and I said thank you. Elaina seemed really nice, but something about the boy was off. Like...he was hiding something. He seemed to act like I wasn't even there, or as if I was just another new kid.

Anyways, they went to their seats, but I just stood there, waiting for them to invite me to have a seat next to them. It was kinda awkward just standing there, but it wasn't that much of a big deal to me.

I smiled at them and I could tell they waited to see where I would sit so I just decided to sit on some random chair no one currently sat on. My eyes wandered for a bit and found a nice seat at the front so that I could give full attention to the teacher. It was the edge  seat and it was also close to the exit which gave it a plus. I placed my books on top, as if I were claiming it, and then seated myself comfortably.

I unzipped my pink striped pencil case and took a pen out. Opening one of my notebooks, (which were all pink) I flipped open to the very front and wrote my name on the left corner of the white cardboard cover.

Suddenly, the bell rang and my ears could hear frantic feet run in the halls as if they wanted to enter class until the very last minute. A bunch of Juniors started to rush in the class room grabbing seats and sitting themselves, and a teacher came in wafting the teens into their seats.

The teacher then leisurely write something on the chalkboard and held a book on her hand.

I saw two of same girls I saw in the hall this morning and they went up to my desk, one giving me a glare and the other with a worried face.

I wasn't really scared of them, not at all. If they were their just to call me names, I could just brush it off. It was none of their business anyway, plus in my mind I think of them as just a couple of girls with having nothing else better to do.

I then gave a short look up towards the girls to see which of them from the group was in my class. It was Andrea and Stella. I gave myself a little sigh of relief knowing that Stella was the other girl in my class. That way I wouldn't have to be in to much trouble.

"Hey, new kid." Andrea scolded.

I just ignored her and kept writing in my book showing that I was not interested in whatever she had in mind.

"I don't think it's really important Andrea..." Stella murmured.

" What do you mean it's not important!" Andrea burst and stared Stella down.

Obviously to Andrea it was something really important. Which made me start to wonder, what was really important with her that had to do with me? I was just new here. I can't have had something that included me in her life already. I never even have talked to her.

I could see Stella bite her lip in frustration. She played with her fingers like a little girl being yelled at by her mommy, and there I was just one foot away from them and both of them talking to each other as if I could not hear them.

The whole time I was sitting down just taking all the words spoken in.

"It's just a chair..,just let her sit in it.. just for today?"
