In Hawaiian some greetings and words can change based on whom they are referred to.
When you see the symbol (dl), it means dual, as in the sentence is referred to two people. (Pl) means it is said to three or more people.
Welcome-Aloha
Hello (general greeting)-Aloha
Hi/Hey-Hui
How are you?-Pehea 'oe? (singular-to one person only)
Pehea 'olua? (dl)
Pehea 'oukou? (pl)
Reply to above-Maika'i, a 'o 'oe?
What's your name?-'O wai kou inoa?
My name is...-'O...ko'u inoa.
Where are you from?-No hea mai 'oe?
I'm from...-No...mau au.
Pleased to meet you-Hau'oli kēia hui 'ana o kāua
Good morning-Aloha kakahiaka/aloha awakea
Good afternoon-Aloha 'auinalā
Good evening-Aloha ahiahi
Goodbye-A hui hou/Aloha
Good night-A hui hou/Aloha
Good luck!-Pomaika'i
Thank you-Mahalo
