“Riker!!! Rossy!!! Rocky!!! Ryland!! GET UP!!! We are 8 minutes from Hawaii!” A crazy blonde screamed in my ear.

I managed a moan with my eyes closed.

“What Ross said.” Rocky groaned.

Riker yawned and turned over.

“No beauty sleep today guys. Mom says you get up now and help organize or no surfing later. Your choice...” Rydel chimed.

At that instant I am pretty sure all 3 of our eyes popped out of our head. We all jumped up and started picking up our things.

Rydel laughed and headed to the front of the suite of the plane.

*Ding*

“Good Morning Passengers! This is the Captain speaking! We will be landing soon! Please organize your belongings and get ready to enjoy your stay in Honolulu! Hope you enjoyed your flight and have a good day!”

*Ding*

I yawned and plopped down on a nearby seat.

“Beach House in Hawaii! R5 Summer Beach House! Da-da-da-da-DA-DA!” Ratliff sang while dancing out of the men’s bathroom in a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses with leis around his neck.

“Oh yeeeah!” Rocky said while fist pounding Ratliff making an exploding sound as an effect.

 “Girls. Sand. Cold Drinks. Surfing. Girls.”  Rocky sighed sinking in the couch.

"You said girls twice." Ryland stated.

"Exactly." Rocky winked.

We all laughed.

I high-fived Rocky. He is right this summer is going to be amazing. Summer break in Hawaii with family and friends. It couldn’t get any better. Where we can relax and not have to worry about our music or touring. Where we don’t have the paparazzi constantly barking up our tree. Where we can do whatever and not have the media observing our every move. Surf all day and bonfire by night. Maybe make some friend. Maybe I will have time to find the right girl and have a summer fling. A beautiful beach babe….

Riker smacked me in the head.

“Quit day dreaming. We aren’t here for the girls. We are here for family time.” Riker said turning serious.

“And I am here to keep you hooligans under control while we are on this trip.” Rydel said entering the suite again.

“Don’t worry we won’t be any trouble.” Ratliff winked.

Rydel smirked and rolled her eyes.

“Yeah Rydel, we will not be any trouble.” I said sarcastically.

“And that comes from my little brother who seems to look for trouble if he is not already causing it. You make that sooo believable.” She grinned. She didn’t seem to catch the sarcasm…

*Ding*

“Please sit down and buckle up as we make our decent into Honolulu. We hope you enjoyed your time on Ocean Airlines.” The women said over the announcements in a fake cheerful voice.

The Lynch family picked up their bags and sat down, while they made their decent into paradise.

The final tardy bell rang as everyone took their seats in U.S. History. I quickly trudged my way towards the desk in the back not making eye contact with anyone. Cassidy’s friend Claire put her leg out in front of me. I tripped and fell dropping my books and history assignment all over the floor. Cassidy and Claire burst out laughing. Mr. Walls walked in and then the hyena chorus was silent.
