You got hurt - Stefan

You walked out of the bathroom drying your hair but immediately stopped when you saw the depressing look on Stefan's face

"Stefan, what's wrong?" You sat down next to him on the bed

When he didn't answer you immediately got worried, Stefan wasn't the type of person to ignore someone. Not matter the situation

"Stefan! Stefan talk to me! What's wrong?"

Stefan looked over at you and it was evident that he was crying

"Y-you got hurt today. You got hurt today and it was all my fault."

"No Stefan! Don't think like that, it wasn't your fault."

"YES IT WAS!" Stefan abruptly got up and yelled

Stefan clearly softened his tense stance when you visibly flinched. You knew that Stefan wasn't mad at you but it still scared you when he was angry. Stefan rarely got angry but when he did, it was serious

"Great. Just great. Now you're scared of me." He said running a hand down his face

"Stefan I'm not scared of you-"

"WELL YOU SHOULD BE! YOU SHOULD BE SCARED OF ME BECAUSE ALL I DO IS GET YOU HURT!"

"Stefan, please just calm down. You don't get me hurt, tonight, tonight-"

"Tonight what? Tonight you got hurt because of me! That guy captured you and tortured you because of me!"

"It's okay Stefan. It's not like you wanted him to hurt me."

"I-I think we need to take a break."

Those words broke you. Stefan if your everything. Yes, sometimes you do get hurt because of him but it's not like he wants you to get hurt. It's the total opposite, he always wants you safe and he will do anything to protect you

"W-what? Come on Stefan you don't mean that! You're just upset."

"No, I do mean it. It's for the best Y/N. I can't have you always getting hurt because of me. It's for your own good, us splitting apart will keep you from getting hurt."

"Oh cut the damn bullshit Stefan! That guy beat me, he cut me, he tied me up and tortured me. He did horrible things to me, and it hurt like a hell. You leaving me because apparently it will keep me from getting hurt, is going to hurt me more than what I had to endure today. I love you Stefan! Please don't do this!"

"B-but how, how am I supposed to protect you? I can barley protect myself! I'm not strong like other vampires! I don't drink human blood and that weakens me. So, how am I supposed to protect if somebody ever comes at you again?"

"I don't know Stefan. But what I do know is, I don't care how strong you are, I don't care what kind of blood you drink. I just care about you! I care about us! I don't need your protection all I need is you and your love. We have been through so much and we survived! We can conquer anything that comes our way as long as we are doing it together!"

Stefan brought you into a tight hug, "I'm so sorry! I'm so so sorry! I saw you with all those Bruises and cuts and it broke me. I don't want to see your hurt and I especially don't want you hurt because of me."

"It's okay Stefan, it's okay."

Sucks? Yeah sorry, I wrote this in like 10 minutes because I realized that I haven't updated

But I do have a good explanation. I'm really sick and it's really hard to concentrate because my airways are closing up and I'm not getting air properly so yeah
