The Ground Above

Here I lay,

looking up at the ground

I have no words to say,

and I hear no sound.

The loud world is silent,

just this time

Everything seems twisted,

without any ryhme

In a land I once called my own,

everything was straight,

everything done simply perfect and no one late

Time went fast without a strain,

no one was a misfit

each person was as the other - just plain, plain, plain,

But now

the world is turning upside down,

I cannot help it,

so here I lay

Helplessly allowing the world to turn,

but in my eyes some pleople need to learn

so here I lay,

with my eyes the other way

and only the ground above me to look at.
