Hmm this is a refreshing change from the usual books I read. I usually tend to avoid books which deal with physical disability as it makes me feel incredibly sad, yet this one book managed to catch my attention.
And aren't I grateful that it did.
It's really very beautifully written, not only is its language great but the way the author has described deafness is incredibly beautiful.
It has a sequel too, but I haven't read it.
At times you'd be annoyed and irritated by the lead character, but keep in mind, it does get better. Hold on and read the whole book, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. :)
