Chapter 9: Dreams
Kaleb's POV:
I sat happily down at the table with Jordan and the servants stared at us but started giving us food.
"Kaleb sweetie?"
I looked up to the gorgeous creature at the end of the table. "Yes Dear?"
"So I was talking to the wedding planner this morning and he said he could make our wedding be in 3 days!"
"3 days?!"
Jordan looked nervously at me but I smiled at her and she relaxed. "Can we get married sooner?" I then said.
She blinked at me surprised but then nodded. "I'll contact him about that. Okay? How about in 2 days instead? We still need to plan everything and order things Honey."
I nodded and started eating again when Viviana rushed into the room frantically but when she saw me she calmed down and flattened her hair.
"Viviana? So good of you to join us. We need to talk."
She pointed her fork at a servant and the servant pulled up another chair next to her for Viviana.
Viviana eyed me nervously and I smiled at my beautiful sister. "Viviana... now you're my best friend... and bffs are not suppose to let the other bff down right?"
She nodded still looking at me in awe.
"Now... when you lost Kaleb and then called Lydia... well you let me down... big time... and this is... what your 3rd time you let me down? Three strikes you're out!"
Viviana's eyed widened and she stood up and shook her head. "No! Please! I didn't mean to!"
Jordan motioned to a nearby guard and he grabbed her arms and started dragging her out of the room. She screamed and clawed and pleaded but Jordan just waved a little then continued eating.
I slowly started eating too but then stopped. "What will happen to my sister?"
"Her? Oh nothing. She'll just rot in the dungeon... do you have a problem with that?"
I shook my head quickly. "No... she deserved it." Then I started eating with Jordan beaming happily at me.
A few minutes later I stood up. "It's late. I'm going to bed."
Jordan nodded then motioned for a servant to help me back to my room. I walked down the halls blindly but I knew where I was going.
I turned to go into the guest room that Jordan gave me. She told me that it was a custom of her family to only go into the same room as her fiance only when they were actually married.
I sat on my bed and the servant left. I sighed and stared outside of the window. I could have sworn I saw a small explosion of purple light somewhere in the distance but I shook it off as a hallucination and went to sleep in 3 seconds flat.
Lydia's POV:
I growled under my breath and my shoulder touched lightly on Aiden's back as the rogues circled us. Great. Another bunch of ugly stupid bonehead rogues.
Aiden zapped another of the rogues with his energy power and I sprouted my wings and flew around slashing their ugly faces and their knobby knees. The sky lit up with Aiden's power and it seemed to even dim the tree's color.
I cut and kicked and slashed and stabbed. The rogues didn't stand a chance. Their bodies fell on top of each other and the ones that were still alive were drowning in their own blood.
Aiden kicked the nearest rogue and spat on the next one. "Disgusting human beings." he growled and I high fived him.
I then pointed to the beautiful stone castle in the distance. "See that? That's the Fire Palace."
He nodded and I grabbed his arm and grew my wings quickly then floated up into the sky. The castle's light was dimming and there was no more sound in the quiet forest except the flapping of my wings.
Aiden had gotten use to me randomly dragging him to the sky. After I saw the castle I imately got hyped up and just took off flying with Aiden screaming for me to go back to the ground.
Now we fly everywhere. Way faster. I saw a light go off in the distance and floated to the castle. We mostly traveled through the whole day and we were getting tired. But we couldn't sleep. Who knows what Jordan was doing to Kaleb?
After a few hours of flying we finally reached the castle... and someone was there waiting for us.
Kaleb's POV:
My dreams were confusing and troubling. They were full of blood, guts, gore, and a group of people.
A strange boy with super blonde hair...
A girl with straight black hair and a glaring face...
Jordan...
and an orange haired girl who was always there...
I dreamed that we were all standing in the middle of a forest. It was kinda dark out but I couldn't tell. It was like looking through a clear through blanket but it was colored black and white. Fuzzy and unclear.
There was a strange hollow ice circle with three people glaring at each other inside. One of them was Jordan. Jordan attacked the blonde haired boy but he did magic with his hands and blasted her away. I gasped. What was he doing to my fiance?! Why was he hurting her?!
The orange haired girl that was inside the ice laughed then stepped out of the giant hole Jordan created when she was blasted through it. I tried to run to Jordan but I couldn't move any muscle in my body.
The black haired girl that seemed vaguely familiar appeared with an army behind her but the other girl morphed into a strange bird creature and took off into the sky.
Then I had another dream. I was sitting next to a sobbing Jordan but I couldn't move on my own. I was sitting feeling worried and sorrow and fitting a strange metal arm on Jordan's strange stumps... how in the world did that happen?! Did the orange haired do this to her? Somehow in the back of my head I knew she did and I felt an uncontrollable anger towards her.
Jordan sobbed and cried but I helped her up and we walked into the forest together. That was where I saw the girl. She was shockingly beautiful but her eyes had tears in them and was full of anger. She was flying and lightning was flashing around her.
She was so powerful. Jordan was crying beside me but I stood my ground. I had this feeling that she wouldn't hurt me.
Then my next dream was probably the most confusing...
I dreamed of the girl... no Jordan around. I was carrying her through some strange darkness screaming a name... Lydia?
The girl was in my arms and she wasn't breathing. Was she dead?!
I suddenly was in the light again and I dropped the girl on the floor and tried everything I knew to revive her but nothing worked... but then minutes later she gasped and shot up. I was flooded with relief... why? She hurt Jordan!
But then I helped her up and then suddenly we were running through the forest with a tornado close and I was laughing about something she said but then I was standing next to a fire watching her as she fell asleep beside me then seeing her cry as she stood in front of me seeing me covered in blood with innocent people running around... then I was standing inside of a strange house with the girl staring at me in shock... and then I heard her voice. Her screaming. I woke up quickly... but I continued to hear the sound.
