"Irene," Jack said quietly tapping on her door.
     "Yeah?" she yawned.
"Let's take the Honey Fitz out this morning. I want to talk, just you and me."
"Alright. Are you sure you're feeling well enough?"
"I'm feeling just fine."
"Then I'll just need a minute to get dressed."
Irene slipped into a pair of high waisted shorts with a sleeveless shirt tucked in. She then combed her pinup curls and fixed them using hair spray. Irene made her way down the stairs and found her father in the kitchen, "Are you ready?" he asked.
"I just need to grab a muffin to eat." Irene grabbed her muffin and followed Jack out of the house. They climbed aboard and Jack began to sail them through the calm waters.
"Irene, I'm going to run for President in 1960."
She was stunned.
"Irene, please say something."
"I don't know what to say."
"Say you'll come campaigning with me."
She nodded as she nuzzled her head into his neck, "Daddy?"
"Yes?"
"When Jill told me to leave and find you, I didn't know what to expect, but now I couldn't imagine not being with you, Caroline, and Mom."
"I couldn't imagine any of this without you either, kiddo."
