After 4 months of being off that god forsaken island, Roger pulled out a pair of specs, Piggie's specs. He held onto these specs from the time he had murdered Piggie out of sexual desire and hate. Roger regretted it deeply, but he only did what Jack had asked him to do.
At school, Roger had seen Jack a few times but never spoke to him after what happened on that island. Roger stared at the specs, then out the corner of his eye, he spotted Ralph. When they were stranded on the island, Roger never thought much of Ralph, he never took the time to get to know him. Looking at Ralph now, Roger started to realise how beautiful Ralph really is. He admired the gorgeous boy for almost 6 minutes, until Ralph looked over at him and Roger quickly looked away. Ralph hated him, how could he love someone like me, a killer, a monster.
