Candice's POV

"WE'RE staying at the mansion or if you won't like it there you might wanna stay at your mansion" Jett said to me.

I just shrugged my shoulder and chose not to answer him.

"Ano nga?" He asked again, I looked at him and glared. Can't he see that I'm trying to calm here? Tsk. I'm so tired kaya.

"Your choice. Now please Mister, let me relax for a minute or two" I said and nodded. He didn't respond tho. I only heard the sound of the machine of his car.

Feeling ko ay sobrang nahilo ako sa biyahe. I almost wanted to puke pero pinigilan ko nalang. Now, I feel sick as fck.

Matutulog na sana ako at sasandal na sa bintana when he opened the radio. Oh damn! The nerve of this man. Tsk.

"I'm trying to sleep here, douche" I said and raised my brow. He suddenly turned off the radio and scratched his hair.

When I felt the silence I want, I went to dreamland.

"Were here, babe" his husky whispers went directly through my ears...

I stretched my both arms and let out a loud sigh. Aaaaaa, freedom!

"You might wanna get out of the car, Odes" he said and smirked. Making me snort, jerk!

"You shut up Stevenson. You're so ugly"

"Talking to yourself, eh?" He then tapped my back and carried the luggages. "Keep up!" He added and run away.

It took me a second before I realized he just complimented me. Sarcasm please -.-.

"Stevenson!"

Too late. He already made his way to the mansion. I put some concealer to my face before going out of the car. The maid even greeted me, I just smiled at her.

"Clean the whole house, I brought my wife with me" I heard Stevenson said. I immediately made my way inside the house and saw him talking to the maid. Disrespectful jerk. The maid is quite old yet he didn't even respected her. Tsk.

"Yes sir, right away!" The maid said and run towards the bunch of maid whose bowing their heads to me.

I just shook my head and went to Jett.

"Hey, where's my room. I'm still tired" I said and held his arms slightly.

He then looked at my hand clinging to his arms but I just ignored his stares.

"You sleep in my room" he said and even kissed my forehead. Tsk! Didn't even ask for permission.

I went upstairs and rest.

I slowly opened my eyes when I felt someone was hugging me behind my back. Who's this creature?

"Odes" he whispered huskily. Oh god! What a heavenly voice?

"You awake?" He gently caress my hair and planting small kisses in it. Uh, hate his sweet-nothings!

"You stop what you're doing right now, Chaser" I said hurriedly removed his hands that is on my waist. I am really shaking right now. This is not right.

"What?"

"I said you stop this bullshit! Why did you even came back?" I asked and its almost a whisper. I am preventing my tears from falling down.

"Odessa" he said sweetly and his brows are slightly creased.

"You said you'll come back to me. To face the problems. You're ready right?" I didn't answer him and stayed at where I am.

"The girl you saw in my office was just a slut I picked in a bar. We didn't have sex for real. It's just an act"

"Why?" I asked. That's all I can say. My lips are shaking and I can't even make a word too much.

"Because the Deviants came to our house when you were sleeping. They tried to get you Odes! They tried to put you away from me! And I'm scare that they might come back. So I made the easiest choice. To hurt you"

"You're a coward" I shrieked at him

He just lowered his gaze and made a loud sigh.

"I know"

"Dess. I can protect you. But they won't stop until they will get you. So I needed you to go away from me. To stay away. I'm too dangerous for you. I can't live without you Odess. I can't give you to those fcking Deviants. That's why.... I made you hate me...I love you too damn much that I can risk all my all for you. I can Odess" he said and slowly...his tears run down. I...I....Its the first time I ever saw him cry. Oh god!

I hurriedly went to his arms. And we cried. Oh...I know to myself that I love him too. That I can't live without him. I can accept him even if he hurts me a million times. I can give him million of chances not just one. I know that he's just the one for me. I can't leave him, no I really can't.

"He doesn't have any idea, how he always made me feel so special, so loved"

He made me so speechless.
