"Hey babe." Mila, my best friend said and plopped down next to me
"Hey babe. Where's Xavier? " I asked her and gave her a smile
Xavier is her boyfriend. They started dating a few days after us.
Their relationship is really strong.
Although they argue a lot, they have their own ways of making up for each other.
"Where's Zane ? " She asked me with a smirk
"God knows where he is." I said and she laughed
"Come on. " She said and I gave her a look
"Hey girls." Xavier my other best friend said and gave Mila a kiss while giving me a hug
Xavier is my best guy friend that gives me good advice and cheers me up.
"Stop it. " I said and they laughed
"Jealous?" Xavier asked
"Yes so much." I said and they gave me a sad look
Zane doesn't kiss me often in school. He doesn't like all these.
Then what's the point of being in a relationship then?
"Told you not to date him." Xavier said and glare at something behind
"Xavier." I said and he gave me a look

We turned around and saw Zane laughing with his friends.
"Oh." I said and gave them a small smile
"See." Xavier said still glaring at him
"It's fine." I said and grabbed my stuff
"Where you're going? " Mila asked me
"Don't worry. " I said with a small smile and went away
"Ciara ! " Xavier shouted my name but I didn't turn around.
While walking to my locker, I bumped into something hard

"Sorry." I said and looked up
"No, sorry." Henry said with a smile
He's my other guy best friend.
He's really caring and nice.
"What's up?" I asked him
"Just gonna grab some food from the cafeteria. You ?" He said while giving me a smile
Stop with that smile.
I can't even smile properly.
Yet you have a perfect smile
Idiot.
"Heading to my locker to grab books for the next class. Catch you later" I said and gave him a smile before walking to my locker
"Sure. Bye best friend." He said
I walked to my locker while scrolling through Twitter checking what's trending.
"Hey best friend. " I said to Brook with a smile
She's the closest to me among my squad.
"Not with Zane?" She asked me with a smile
I dropped my smile when she asked that.
"No." I said and opened my locker
"You'll be fine baby." She said and gave me a hug
After grabbing our books, we head to class together.
"Hey, Miss Lindsay." I greet my History teacher with a smile
"Morning Ciara." She said with a smile
I went to my place and took a seat
Brook sat behind Zane and I
Yes , I sit with him.
"Hey girls." Colton said to us and sat next to Brook.
I always knew something is going on between them
I can feel some sexual tension between them.
"Sup." I said and he hugged me and Brook
"Oh." I said with a smirk
"Oh." They said and smirk at someone behind me
"Oh." Zane said and kiss my cheek while hugging my waist
"Oh." We said and laughed
"Hey babe." Zane said with a smirk
"See, I told you they're goals. " Mila said to Xavier while walking to our seat and pointing at Zane and I
"Right." Xavier said and glare at Zane
"Xav." I said and he gave me a hug
"I was just worried about you okay? You're my best friend, I don't want him to hurt you." He whispered and I gave him a smile
"I'll be fine. Thank you." I whispered back
"So, when are both of you going to be together eh? " Mila asked Brook and Colton
"Tomorrow." I said with a smirk and they blushed.
"Yes." Zane said and kiss my forehead
"See!" Mila exclaimed and Xav laughed
"Fine. They're really cute." Xav said and gave Mila a hug
I can tell that Xav is trying to force the word "cute" out to Mila.
He's really pissed at Zane
"Xav." I said and he smiled at me
"Okay, class! Let's continue shall we?" Miss Lindsay said to everyone and we groaned
After class, we went to our hangout spot together.
"Guys!" Brook said and we turned to her
"There will be a new student joining our class tomorrow." She said and we smiled
Yes, Brook is the student president. She knows everything that's going on in the school.
"Is the student a girl or boy then? " I asked her
"A girl." She said and we nodded
"I bet she'll join our squad." Xav said and I laughed
"Sure." I said and he laughed
