I look in the mirror
and what do I see?
Do I see
those eyes everyone loves
or do I see these internal demons laughing at me?
They say
"Who do you think you are
going forward as if you have no scars?
Why did you get up today?
You should have just stayed in bed
and let the silence take over your head
This world hates you
It's not quite ready to love you
And don't pretend you're over him
You know who the tears are for
when the lights are dimmed
Night might be dead in the morning
But the torment won't be."
