The Dragon Sanctuary

We all were heading to the closest entrance to the Sanctuary, which was by Thraya's house, My friends that live here are already in the sanctuary with their dragons waiting on us, Astrid was walking next to me on my left, I still can't believe she still loves me after what I told her. My parents were off to my right and everyone else was behind me. Once we got to the sanctuary entrance I stop and my mother stood next to me.
"Okay so my friends have their dragons in there waiting on us, if you don't like any of those dragons then ask my mother or I and we'll show you other dragons that we think fit you best." I said to everyone they all nodded their heads I looked at my mom and she gave me a hippyish smile. We all walked in and there stood my family with their dragons. Mom called her dragon cloudjumper and I looked around for Toothless but couldn't find him. "Toothless!" I yelled. I stood on the edge of the big cliff we were on and listened for him, nothing. I looked down over the edge and saw him looking up at me "oh hey there bud! Wanna come up with the family and help the berkians chose a dragon!" I yelled down at him he gave a loud grumble and flew up knocking me on my butt, and landed next to me. "Thanks bud" I said after he he helped me up. I turned toward everyone "alright let's get you all on dragons!" I said, my friends lined up with their dragons and we got started.
after a good 20 minutes Astrid choose to go with a Deadly Nadder, Fishlegs a Gronckle, the twins with a Hideous Zippleback, Snotlout a Monstrous Nightmare, and Gobber a Hotburple. the only one left was my dad. "Hiccup why don't you help me pick my dragon" my father finally said. i nodded and looked around at my friends and in the sanctuary. "I would say either a Thunderdrum or a Rumblehorn would fit your personality best dad" he nodded he looked at a nearby Thunderdrum then at the Rumblehorn. "I like the Rumblehorn." he said "great! Eret dads all yours! get him a Rumblehorn." I smiled but Eret gave me a much different look. "Hey Hiccup, can you help Astrid finding her Nadder and Snotlout his Nightmare? I have to go help mom scout." I nodded my head and gave her a hug "you be careful sis you hear me?" I asked her she nodded her head then I kissed the top of her head and she took off on shudderstorm. "So are you two..." I cut Snotlout off "she's my little sister...in a way." I started walking toward the Nightmare cavern/nest "ummm can you like explain that more?" I groaned "I've known Thraya and her brother for 6 years and not to long ago he was killed, he made me promise to take care of our sister and I'm holding that promise till the end." I glared at him and he nodded I turned back around to see Nightmares staring at me then they quickly bowed their heads I nodded and stepped forward to an orange and black nightmare, I used my hand motions to bring forward. "How does he look Snotlout? He is one of the strongest." Snotlout circled him then stuck out his hand and looked away just as Thraya instructed, the nightmare touched his nose to snotlout's hand. "I'm gonna name him... Hookfang" I nodded and turned to Astrid "your turn milady. Snotlout you can head back." I smiled at her and took her hand "toothless!" He came bounding down the path I hopped on then Astrid got on behind me"uh where do you think your going with my Astrid" Snotlout said I turned and looked at "your Astrid? Last I checked Astrid and I are together, am I wrong dear?" Astrid shook her head and laughed. Toothless took off we had to fly to the other side of the nest. Which only took a few seconds. As soon as we landed we hopped off, I entered the cave and made a clicking noise with my younger and a Nadder came. I dropped my sword to the ground and I heard Astrid follow with her axe "hey girl how are you? Your looking a lot better today. Can I take a look at that wound?" I asked her, I reached out my hand and touched her nose "what happened to her?" Astrid asked behind me "she got cut by a sword defending a small attack by Dagur, she's very brave. After she's all healed up she's all yours, if you want her that is." Astrid nodded her head and stuck her hand out, the Nadder quickly trusted Astrid "great now keep her distracted." Astrid gave me a look "it's okay I just need to check her wound." She nodded "Stormfly, do you like that?" She asked the dragon, Stormfly squawked with happiness. i took the bandage off of her left leg and looked at it, it was still bleeding a bit so i replaced the bandage. "there she's good" Astrid nodded i heard another dragon land behind us and turned "Thraya! that must have been a quick scout." she laughed "mom already had most of it done she just wanted to get it done faster so she could see what dragon stoick choose." i nodded and looked at her "you know you can call him dad" i said to her, she shook her head "it doesn't seem right. i don't know him that well an you're his son, i'm just another person to him." my shoulders slumped when she said that. Thraya's father died when she was a baby so she's never had a real dad. "well you can stay with Astrid if you want since Stormfly can't go anywhere, I'm gonna go check up on everyone." i said they both nodded and i hopped on toothless and left.
time skip.
after the long day of training everyone I went home, which is exactly where i am, sitting, poking the fire, and just thinking mom was out with dad and Gobber and toothless was in the sanctuary I left the front door open a bit so he could come in on his own. After awhile of sitting I heard the door open I thought it was toothless so I just stayed still but then I felt hands on my shoulders and looked up, and there stood my beautiful girlfriend Astrid. "Are you okay?" She asked sitting on the arm of my chair I nodded "as far as I know I'm the reason for this war." I told her she rubbed my back "this war is equally everyone's fault that was involved in creating it." She said to me, she wrapped her arms around my neck, her hands were clasped together resting on my chest. I put my hands on hers and leaned into her. "I love you Astrid." I snaked one arm around her back "I love you too Hiccup." She kissed my forehead and stood up, losing her body heat. I guess I made a noise cuz she was looking at me "did you just wine?" She asked me I stood up and turned to her "I guess I did. I just don't want you to leave." Astrid giggled then came back to me and laid her head on my chest wrapping her arms around my torso, and I wrapped my arms around her. "Will you stay with me tonight?" I asked her, she buried her face in my chest and said "of course." I kissed the top of her head and we parted I motioned my head to my room "shall we get some sleep milady?" I asked her she nodded and I took her hand and led her to my room she took off her shoulder pads and placed them on the armor table as we walked by it. Once we were in my room we both layed down in my bed. Astrid moved closer to me placing her head on my chest and her arm draped over my midsection I pulled the fur blanket over both of us a turned my face towards Astrids and closed my eyes, tonight sleep came to me very quickly with Astrid in my arms.
