Chapter 4

Kilis pov
I sat on the throne to only feel a heavy thing on my head and to only feel eyes on me so I looked at the crowd to only have my gaze land on Y/N and when it did I couldn't help but noticed how beautiful she looked so I smiled to only see her smiling back at me and the next thing I knew I was the king well one of the kings and I was now the one that had to look over these people, the one to keep them safe so I sighed and just sat there wishing thorin was here, wishing it was him here not me looking down the crowd of people, the crowd of people that now put their life's in my hands.

A few hours later
You walked outside to only feel the middle earth breeze hitting your skin so you sighed, walked to the edge, rested your arms on it to only hear kili say

"You miss him don't you"

As he said that you turned around to only see him standing there with a crown on his head so you smiled to only hear yourself say

"Yes more then ever"

With that he walked up to you, pulled you in a hug so you hugged him back then said

"Sorry kili"

"For what"

"For ruining your night"

As you said that he hugged you tighter and said

"Trust me you didn't ruin my night instead you made it better"

As he said that you hugged him tighter

"I'm always here for you kili you know that right"

With that he hugged you tighter and kissed your head and said

"Thank you"

With that he rested your head on your shoulder and as he did you noticed a tear hit your skin so you hugged him tighter to tell him that he can get through this and that you will never leave him and the next thing you knew you guys stayed like that for hours wishing this was never happing, wishing this would never end.
