Okay so I'm trying something different with this chapter and I want you guys to tell me what you think.
It's going to be girlxgirl (kirstie with tori) but not really smutty since I'm just testing the waters

ps I have about 4 other one shot requests that I'm still working on so those should be up soon!

P.o.V Kirstie

"I'll be back in a few hours." Jeremy said as he pulled his jacket on.

"Are you sure? You're welcome to stay!" I smiled back at him.

"I feel like I would get in the way." I was having people over to work on ideas for our upcoming Christmas album. "I'll be back in time for dinner though." It wasn't even lunchtime yet. He pulled me into a very gentle kiss before opening the door to leave.

"See you later!" I waved as I closed the door. I knew he was just leaving to be comfortable and give us space, but I couldn't help but feel like he had been distant for the past few days.

I began cleaning up the house for the arrival of my guests. It wasn't dirty, just a few things here and there. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have bothered cleaning up since I was so close with all the band members, but today Tori Kelly was coming over too and since I didn't know her as well I felt like I should make everything look presentable.

About an hour later I heard a knock on the door. I rushed over and greeted Scott and Mitch, who had brought gluten free cupcakes along with them. As I plated the snacks in the kitchen I heard the two men giggling and singing off key in the other room. Just as I was about to bring the cakes out to the living room I heard a light knock on the door. With the tray of cupcakes still in hand, I took a deep breath and opened the door.

"Hey!" Tori said through a perfect smile that made her eyes crinkle.

"Hey come on in!" I stepped aside for her to enter. "Scott and Mitch just got here, we're still waiting on the rest of the boys though."

"Oh good, I was worried I'd be last." She let out a tiny giggle and adjusted one of her curly locks of blonde hair. We walked into the other room and joined the still-giggling boys on the couch. The four of us sat chatting and laughing for a while until Avi and Kevin arrived. Once the whole group was together we began brainstorming ideas for a new Christmas song. The last song we had done with Tori had been such a hit we knew we would bring her back for the next album.

Mitch, Tori, and I were writing together in one group while Scott, Kevin, and Avi worked on the other side of the room. We always split off to get a couple of basic outlines before coming back together to arrange.

"Hey how about something like this." Tori said before singing a wordless melody. She hit every note flawlessly. I couldn't help but stare as she closed her eyes in concentration. "Something like that maybe?" I was still taking in everything that I had witnessed in the past few seconds.

"That sounds great! What do you think Kirst?" I heard Mitch but I couldn't pull my eyes away from Tori. "Um, hello? Earth to Kirstin!"

"Yeah, right, sorry. Um, yeah I thought that was beautiful!" I stammered like an idiot. What is wrong with me today? I thought to myself.

"Thanks Kirstie." Tori smiled. "Should we find the harmonies?" Mitch and I nodded our agreement and began playing with different combinations of sounds. After a few minutes we stopped at the sound of Avi's voice.

"Hey guys I hate to interrupt, you all sound amazing, but can we take a lunch break? I'm starved." We all chuckled at his hesitation and agreed to have lunch.

"How about the three of us run and grab something and bring it back here?" Kevin suggested.

"Sounds good to me!" I agreed. A few minutes later Avi, Kevin, and Scott were out the door.

"Wait, I need to grab my bag from the car. I'll be back up in a few minutes." Mitch said and quickly left.

"You sounded great earlier!" Tori said. "You have a beautiful voice."

"You're beautiful." I blurted. I immediately averted my attention away from Tori. I had no idea what came over me. I felt my face quickly heat as a blush tinted my skin.

"So are you!" Tori replied. I looked back up at her and was greeted with her beautiful smile between two flushed, rosy cheeks.

"Thanks." I giggled.

"Hey, we should take a selfie for Instagram!" Tori quickly changed the subject, and I happily agreed. I scooted myself up next to her on the couch as she pulled out her phone. I grinned for the camera, and just as Tori's thumb snapped the picture, her free hand slung around my waist and pulled me closer to her. My heart lurched in my chest at the feeling of our hips and thighs pressing together.

"Sorry, you weren't totally in the shot but your smile was really cute and I didn't want you to make a pose again." Tori explained as her cheeks regained their rosy tint. She began cropping and editing the photo of us.

"No, it's fine I understand." I assured her and placed my hand on her thigh. I noticed she tightened her grip on her phone as I traced my thumb in tiny circled on her skin. Her lace shorts were just short enough for me to have access to her bare skin halfway up her thigh. I stopped when I realized what I was doing, and began to pull my hand away but Tori grabbed my wrist and laced my fingers with her own.

"Y- You don't have to stop if you don't want to." She muttered. I turned myself to face her more directly. Our faces were centimeters apart and I could feel her breath unevenly hit my skin. There was a long, agonizing pause. We stared into each other's eyes, quickly at our lips, then back into our eyes again. Finally I decided to break the tension. I pressed my lips into hers for a split second, and retreated back to my spot on the couch.

"I'm sorry." I said quietly.

"No, no don't be it's fine... I totally get it- it's no problem." She was so flustered. I felt bad for kissing her. For some reason the only solution I could think of was to kiss her again. So I did.

I laced my fingers through her springy blonde hair and gently brought my lips to hers for the second time. The first time was just a peck, but this time there was actual emotion behind it. I had never thought about it before, but girls kiss a lot better than guys. Most of the boys I had kissed, that is. Kissing Tori was so much more soft and gentle.

She grabbed my waist and pulled me into her lap as we continued making out. I felt her hands run up my back, and grip slightly just below my shoulder blades. We were so focused on each other, we didn't hear the door open. We didn't hear Mitch get back into the apartment until he dropped his keys at the sight of us.

"KIRSTIN TAYLOR!" He yelled. I pulled myself off of Tori. "TORI KELLY!"

"Mitch, oh my god, please don't tell anyone!" I begged. He looked at me for a while with one eyebrow raised.

"Why shouldn't I tell Jeremy?"

"Because you're one of my best friends and you know that I've wanted to do that for a long time." I felt like I was going to cry.

"Kitty don't worry. Your secret is safe with me on one... no, two conditions." I waited for him to continue. "One, you never cheat again. And two, you don't let this effect the rest of the songwriting." He gestured at both of us.

"I promise." I said.

"Promise." Tori nodded.

"Okay." Mitch smiled. We heard the rest of the boys coming up the stairs. "Y'all were cute by the way."

Tori gave me a quick kiss on the nose again before greeting everyone. I felt a little guilty, but we all knew one of my promises was going to be broken.
