MINDY'S POV

Lydia and I walk into Scott's house to see only him and Liam. I walk over to the couch that Liam is on and sit next to him. He smiles at me causing me to give one in return.

"Where's Julie and Stiles?" I ask him.

He shrugs. "I don't know. They haven't arrived yet." He replies.

I look over at Scott who seems just as confused as I am. As I look at him I remember how I had a crush on him in fifth grade. I don't know why I did but it lasted a while and when I found out we were moving I was pretty upset. It took me five years to have a crush on someone that I could actually have a chance with...yes I know I was in fifth grade and he was just a tiny crush but come on, I was ten...and then I have to move away from them. I couldn't get him out of my head that entire summer, but then I met Tyler and Scott disappeared from my mind. What a strange feeling it is to like someone one minute and then completely forgetting about them the next.

I get out of my daze and look back at Liam. Oh my god does this boy look good! His eyes look even bluer than before and his laugh is even more adorable. As I enjoy the view I hear my phone go off. Pulling it out I see it's a message from Tyler. Why is he texting me? I don't open it, I simply put it back in my purse. I don't want to hear what he has to say because right now I'm with someone who will... I hope... make me happy, Liam.

An hour passes and Liam and I have really bonded. I found out that he has a step father who's a doctor and works at the same hospital as Melissa. He also told me that he has been playing lacrosse for a very long time. Which is noticeable. As we continue chit-chatting I hear the front door open. I look up to see Julie and Stiles walk through the front door. Julie comes over and sits next to me while Stiles makes his way next to Scott. I don't talk to Julie at first because I am interested in what she's looking at. There I find her gaze stuck on Stiles. Instantly I'm confused. Why are you looking at him?

"Is there something going on between you two?" I ask her.

"No. At least I hope not," she replies.

"What do you mean, 'I hope not'?" I say to her mimicking her voice.

"It's a long story."

"Well, I got time."

She rolls her eyes as a sigh escapes her lips. "I have been finding him very attractive lately and thinking of him differently than I normally do."

"What's so bad about that?" I ask her.

"What's so bad about that? I don't want to have a crush on my best friend! That's just weird!" She whispers causing me to giggle.

"Yeah I can see what you mean. You guys are really close."

I used to think they would make a good couple. Heck! I still think they would! But what if it didn't last? Would they still talk to each other or would they end up out of each other's lives? I don't even want to think about that happening.

"Enough talk about me, what about you and," she says titling her head towards Liam.

"I don't know. I think we hit it off but you know I could be wrong." I reply causing her to chuckle.

"Well I could always talk to him for you." She says lifting her eyebrows.

"Or you could not," I say.

She nudges me with her elbow. "Hey, we are werewolves which means I can communicate somewhat better than you can with him."

"Yeah, sure." I roll my eyes.

She smiles at me but it soon fades. Her eyes went towards the door causing her to sit up straight. I put my hand in hers knowing who was calling her. Theo.

"You don't have to go. You know that." I say causing a frown to form on her face. "Stay, please."

She thinks for a second before nodding. He doesn't need to be with her every second. She needs to be with her family. I look over at Liam to find that he's already looking at me. Immediately his face turns red. Oh my god! He's embarrassed! That's so cute! He looks away with a shy smirk on his face. Can he get any cuter? He gets off the couch and trips causing us all to laugh. I stand corrected...he can!

I hear my phone go off once again from the same person it was before, Tyler. I roll my eyes. He needs to get a life. I mean I know it's hard loosing the most perfect girl in the world but things happen. I ignore this message as well. Whatever he has to say should have been said to my face a long time ago not three weeks after we break up!

I throw my phone on the table making a loud sound erupt into the room. Lydia looks over at me and gives me the is-your-ex-texting-you-again look causing me to nod. Julie picks up my phone and sees the message bubbles from Tyler.

"What does he want?" She asks.

"I have no clue! He's been texting me this entire week!"

Her eyebrows move inward. "Maybe what he has to say is important." I go to yell her off but she puts up her hand. "I'm not saying that you should forgive him or let him have anymore of your time, but why do you think he texts you everyday? Maybe it's important."

I shrug my shoulders not knowing why he would even consider texting me. He shouldn't be contacting me unless he's dying, but that is unlikely to happen. So he shouldn't be texting me at all.

He needs to get over me and I need to get over him and it is working. I'm realizing I don't need him in my life and that whatever happened to us is in the past. We need to move on and with him texting me all the time isn't helping. We can get through this. I can get through this.
