Chapter: 14

AYO GUYS!! I'm so so so so sorry that I haven't been updating very often, it's just that I've been very busy and yeah I apologize, but I hope you enjoy this next chapter!!

(Hinata's POV)

I got up at around 6:00 in the morning, this is terrible, I don't know how I'm going to survive...

WAIT-

THIS IS VOLLEYBALL PRACTICE WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT?!?!?!?!

I'M SO HAPPY

I quickly got changed and made breakfast for me and Natsu. My mom was passed out sleeping. She hasn't slept in a while so I'm glad she is getting some sleep. I just finished making breakfast and served the food to Natsu and for myself.

"Is your boyfriend gonna make dinner tonight?" Natsu spoke up

"I don't even think he's coming over today—hey wait just a second! Why do you want him to make dinner for us?!" I shouted at her

"Shhh Sho! Mom is sleeping!" Natsu whisper yelled at me, "And I was just wondering..."

"Do you think his cooking is better?" I stared into her eyes waiting for an answer and she just stared back with a dead face.

"yeah"

"That's rude Natsu!"

"I don't think I can survive your cooking anymore"

"Natsu!"

"Shh Sho!"

"Natsu!"

"Sho be quiet!"

"You're mean Natsu..."

"I'm sorry oni-chan, I'm only being honest"

I just pouted at her as she finished her food.

"Come on Natsu I'll help get you changed." I said she I helped her off the chair.

As we walked into her room I crouched down to get Natsu's clothing from the bottom drawer of the dresser, until I felt something on my back. I turn my head to see Natsu hugging my back.

"I'm sorry oni-chan I love your cooking." She said with tears in the corners of her eyes.

"It's ok Natsu," I said and kissed her forehead, "I'll ask if Kageyama could drop by to cook—"

"I want your cooking"

"Are you sure? You might not survive." I said while giggling.

"I will survive! I'll show you how strong I am!"

"Ok Natsu, thank you"

"I love you Sho"

"I love you too, Natsu. Now let's get you changed."

"Ok."

After I finished getting Natsu changed I got packed up. I passed by Natsu's room and noticed that she was sitting on her bed by herself. I felt bad for her.

"Hey Natsu."

"Yeah?"

"You want to meet my volleyball team?" Natsu's eyes sparked a little.

"Yeah sure!"

"Ok, put on your sneakers and I'll get some snacks and a water bottle for you." I said while I quickly went to the kitchen and got everything needed. By the time I finished Natsu was already ready to go. I lock the front door when we left our house. Natsu grabbed a hold of my hand, and I held her hand in return. I felt her hand shake slightly.

"Natsu are you ok?"

"Ummm...I'm just shy about meeting them now..." she said as she looked up at me.

"Don't worry Nat-chan they're nice people and Kageyama will be there."

"Yay~" Natsu happily shouted.

As we continued our way I saw Kageyama running towards us with a piece of toast in his mouth. I instinctively grabbed Natsu and ran towards the school while carrying her. But Kageyama caught up to us.

"Hello Natsu—wait why is Natsu here?" Kageyama asked with a confused expression on his face.

"I couldn't leave in the house while my mom was sleeping, who would take care of her?" I said, I sounded very motherly, which is weird, wtf, anyway...

"Who's going to take care of her at practice?" Kageyama asked yet another question

"There are twelve volleyball players, a sensei, a coach, and a manager. I think that Natsu will be taken good care of." I said with sincerity in my voice.

"So many people..." I heard Natsu whisper

"Ok, I'll help with whatever I can." Kageyama said as he smiled and pat Natsu's head. She giggled as a reply. I continued to carry Natsu in one arm and hold Kageyama's hand with the other available arm.

"Here I'll carry your bag, since you're carrying Natsu." Kageyama said while he reached out to take my bag. Before I could say anything Natsu spoke up,

"Kageyama carry me instead!"

"Are you sure Natsu?" Kageyama and I said at the same time

"Yeah, I don't want to make you carry me because I'm heavier now and you have to carry our stuff." Natsu said with a small smile.

"Ok" I replied with a smile. I passed her along to Kageyama. He cradled her close to his chest. I have to admit he looks like a father, and I kinda like that image.

(Kageyama's POV)

I hugged Natsu close to my chest. I could tell she was tired because she started closing her eyes. I smiled at her. SHE'S SO CUTE I CAN NOT HANDLE THIS. It's ok Kageyama hold these emotions back, if Hinata ever knew about these emotions he'd only make fun of you. Calm down.

(Hinata's POV)

We made it to the gym and Natsu was napping a little, so I woke her up with food.

"Natsu we're here!" I said while waving a chocolate candy in front of her face. She immediately opened her eyes and stole the candy piece.

"Ok I'm awake" she said while finishing up the piece of candy. Kageyama and I just giggled at her actions. I went closer to the door and heard music playing. I looked at Kageyama with a questioning face and he was just as confused. I went closer and opened the doors.

"HUH?" Me and Kageyama shouted out loud by what stood in front of us.
