Random Depressing poetry... yeah I know I'm depressing live with it!

Angel's Wings

Another soul was devoured today

By a bloodthirsty parasite

Lately thousands have fallen

And I am just to watch

As a human's soul is taken in

By my old brethren named demons

My siblings watch alongside me

Paralyzed by their vicious thirst

Smirking at our helplessness

As they take souls for their God

The humans look at us pitifully

Their eyes begging for help

And their tongues twisting

In an unfamiliar language

Soon their sounds cease

And the demons vanish

Leaving a diminished corpse

But their are certain exceptions

And the human does survive

By calling to one of us

In the language of angels

Calling for our salvation

So that they may be saved

And by law we must save them

And take them up into our wings

To go and meet Father

The one who created all

And yet doesn't see us

Behind the haze of Heaven's clouds

I can't help but began to wonder

If he cares for us

And with this fear in my mind

A new thought forms perfectly

About how long it shall be

Until I too will become a fallen

And lose the wings I was given

The wings that show his favor

That separate me from humans

And announces my status

As one of Father's chosen angels

My flawless white angel wings...
