Jordan's POV (Melanie's Friend)

I texted Melanie as I walked down the sidewalk. I got to their doorstep and knocked. I heard footsteps go up the stairs and Jason opened the door. He smiled. "Hi Jordan." "Hey. Melanie'a home right?" "Um. Yeah but can I talk to you a minute." I looked up at Melanie's bedroom window as the curtains drew back a little and green eyes looked over the hem. She winked at me and I turned to Jason as he walked out shutting the door behind him. "Is everything alright? Mel sick or.. Oh god did she cut again?" I played along. "No. No Melanie's fine. But I wanna ask you something." I leaned against the railing. "Ok." I smiled. "We've known each other for a long time and I was wonder maybe if you wanted to." He trailed off. "Wanted to what." I smirked getting closer. His breath quickened. Perfect reaction, he falls for teases so good. Melly saw what I was doing and smiled in the window rolling her eyes. This hasn't been the first time is messed with him, first year of middle school she told me Jason liked me. And judging by what he's about to ask he didn't stop. "Wanted to be my girlfriend." Jason managed out. "Yes." A thud came from above us. I laughed. "Yeah she's perfected her lip reading." "She also just hit that hard head of hers on the window. Kinda killing the mood." He looked down. "Well I wouldn't say all that." I put my hand on his chest feeling his heart beat get faster under it. He put his hands on my waist and pulled me closer kissing me. The door swung open. "Ahh! My innocence!" Jason broke away quickly. "Nobody told you to come down here!" Jason glared at her.

"You want a water before we start?" Chloe nodded. "Yes please." I went and got a couple bottles. Heading back I heard a frustrated groan. "What's wrong babe?" Chloe looked at me with a funny face. "Do you know how hard it is to see through falling pixels?!" I laughed. "No not really." She huffed and turned back to her screen. "I take it that it's raining in the world." "Yesh. But I can't see anything to make sure I'm safe and toggle it!" I sat down and joined her. "Then I will. And I think it's about to tell them we're together." I suggested. Chloe lit up. "Really?" I nodded. "Might as well. If you're not still frustrated about the falling pixels." "I'm not and I recorded that statement for my intro." "Nice." I laughed. "Shall we begin?"
